10. Evil?

"Yoongi hyuuung!!! Hurry up and get the coffee cups from Namjoon hyung!" Jimin yelled from outside the kitchen. "Okayy" Yoongi said. "The last one is for Hobi. He asked for a cup" Namjoon said, without making any eye contact. 

Yoongi looked around the kitchen and found them alone. He took one of the cups and smirked at Namjoon. "I don't care if Hobi misses a cup of coffee" he said. Namjoon widened his eyes, but remained silent. 

Yoongi lifted the cup and poured the hot coffee on Namjoon's foot. He threw the cup down and left without a word. "Hobi! Namjoon is hurt. Go and see" Yoongi said, wearing a worried expression on his face. 

Hoseok ran in and found Namjoon standing in the kitchen with hot coffee and broken pieces of a cup on and around his feet. "Joon! Joon" Hoseok shook him to get him out of his trance. "Sorry, it slipped. I am sorry" Namjoon said and bent down to clean the floor. 

"You go and have some first aid, your foot got burnt. I'll clean it up" Hoseok said. Namjoon nodded and stepped forward, but winced and kneeled down, unable to bear the pain. 

He looked up at Hoseok with tears in his eyes. "It hurts" he sniffled. "Wait here" Hoseok said and ran out. Soon, Jungkook and Jin ran in with a first aid box. 

"Oh my god. How did it happen?" Jin asked as he squatted in front of him. Hoseok went to clean the floor while Jungkook ran to wet a towel. 

"The cup slipped from my hand" Namjoon winced. "You are getting more and more clumsy, Joon! Why are getting injured soo much these days?" Jin scolded as he applied ointment to the burn. "Sorry" Namjoon mumbled. 

It had been a week since the guys played a prank on Yoongi and Namjoon to get them together. It only received the opposite response, but the others didn't know about that. 

Yoongi was a great actor and no one suspected that he was hurting Namjoon when no one was around. Namjoon always made up an excuse for his wounds instead of ratting him out. 

Four days ago, he showed up with a busted lip, saying that he slipped and hit his lip on the table. Two days ago, Jimin noticed a knife cut on his hand and freaked out by how deep it was. 

Namjoon told them that he had been thinking about something while cutting fruits in his flat and had cut his hand by mistake. Jin had had tears in his eyes when he had bandaged his hand. 

Yoongi ran to the room with a worried expression. "Are you fine? Did it burn? Does it hurt? Where did you get hurt? What about the cup? Did you get cut anyw-" "Yoongi, chill. He is okay" Jin said. "Thank god" Yoongi sighed. 

"Take a leave for a couple of days and rest at home, Joon. We can manage without you for two days. Be careful, okay? Yoongi, will you take him home?" Jin asked. "Now?" Yoongi asked. "Haan" Jin replied. "Okay, sure" Yoongi said, walking to Namjoon. 

"No! It's okay. I'll rest here. I'll go home with you" Namjoon said. Jin stared at Namjoon for a while before sighing and nodding. "Take him to the backroom, Yoongi" Jin said. 

"I'll go myself" Namjoon said, dodging himself from Yoongi's grip and steadying himself on his good foot before hopping to the backroom. Yoongi followed him and made sure he settled on the old couch present over there before squatting in front of him. 

Namjoon, who didn't notice Yoongi following him, gasped when Yoongi sat in front of him. 

"This is just the beginning, baby. Don't get too used to their affection, though. They will do first aid for a few times and soon, they will get fed up. They will start getting annoyed, instead. Oooooh, I would love to see you suffer" Yoongi whispered. 

"Hwaiting, Monnie!" he cheered and punched the air with his fist before walking out.
