6. New practice

"Jungkookie" Jimin called. "Come out and help me with the tables" he said. "Nah! If I come, only these two will be left in the kitchen. It will be hard for them" Jungkook said. 

"Nah, it's okay! You go and help him. We'll be fine" Yoongi said. "Nah, you stay! I'll go" Namjoon said and went out to help Jimin with the tables. Yoongi and Jungkook scowled at each other and worked silently. 

"Taehyung and Hoseok are having lunch. You should go and help Namjoon hyung. I'll help Jungkookie" Jimin said, coming into the kitchen around the lunch time. "Sure" Yoongi smiled and went out. 

Namjoon frowned as Yoongi walked out of the kitchen with a grin on his face. They wiped the tables in silence for a while before Namjoon went in and sent Jungkook to help Yoongi. 

"Hyung! It's been two weeks and we still don't know anything about you!" Taehyung whined. "I am from Daegu" Yoongi said matter-of-factly. 

Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook stared at him with wide eyes. "Yah! They are gonna roll out of the sockets if you open them anymore" Hoseok said. 

"HYUNG!!!" Jimin exclaimed. "What?" Yoongi deadpanned. "Why didn't you say this before?! Even Namjoon hyung is from Daegu!!" Taehyung exclaimed. "Oh" Yoongi said and looked at Namjoon, who was busy chugging his beer down without paying any attention to them. 

This had become a practice for them. Every evening, Namjoon would drink during their hangout. He would drink continuously until he passed out. Then Jin and Hoseok would take him home while the remaining four would lock the cafe and go back home. 

Jin started bringing his car daily because of Namjoon. "Aigoo, why is he like that? What the hell happened to him? He wasn't like this before" Hoseok said as he stared sadly at Namjoon, who was close to passing out. 

"Hyung! You remember? That day, two weeks ago, Namjoon hyung came and said that he was going to resign, remember? What if that was the reason? What if something happened and that's why he is drinking like this daily?" Jungkook asked. 

"Right, right! I remember he told me that he had his reasons for resigning like that" Taehyung exclaimed. "Guys, that's his personal business. We shouldn't butt into it." Jin chided. 

"You guys went out for some time, right? What did he say? At least, do you know the reason?" Hoseok asked. Jimin, who was next to Namjoon, yelped when Namjoon suddenly passed out on him. He carefully placed him back and they continued their conversation. 

"He didn't actually tell me the reason. He was very vague. I managed to convince him to stay. He was really very vague and completely determined to go away to Busan. He didn't come for three days before that, remember? I am thinking something happened to him at that time" Jin explained. 

"I don't know why, but I feel scared for him" Jimin said. Jin hummed and sighed sadly. "Let's just go back home" he said and piggybacked Namjoon to the car. Hoseok opened the car while the other four switched off the lights and locked the cafe. 

"Hyung, you should have told us that you were from Daegu. What's so secret about it?" Taehyung frowned at Yoongi as they walked back home. 

"I don't trust anyone. It'll take some time. I would appreciate if you gave me some space until then" Yoongi said, cutting bluntly. "Okay" Taehyung muttered while Jungkook scoffed. They walked the rest of the distance in silence. 

Yoongi sat on his bed with a mug of hot chocolate in his hand. "I'll take revenge, Hyojoo. I'll kill him for what he did to you" he mumbled to himself while spacing out on the floor next to the bed.
