5. The other worker

The schedule continued for the next two days. Jimin, Taehyung, Jungkook and Yoongi went to the cafe together. 

They all worked and by the end of the day, Yoongi practically dashed out without waiting for them. He went to different bars, looking at the different people visiting them and enjoying his cigarette. 

It had been three days since Yoongi joined the cafe. "Good morning!" Taehyung yelled as they entered the cafe. 

Yoongi had his head down and hands in his pocket as they entered the cafe. He went straight into the kitchen and almost started working when he heard a loud squeal from outside. He went out to see Taehyung running towards someone. 

Taehyung jumped onto the man. "Hyung!! How are you?? I missed you!!" he yelled. The man chuckled as he pulled him away. "It has literally been four days, Tae" he said. 

Yoongi squinted at his face. The sunlight behind him was blocking his view and making it hard for him to see his face. "FOUR DAYYYYYSSSS!!!"Taehyung whined. "Aish, you goose, let him live" Jin said as he approached the man. 

"We finally got a new worker. Meet Min Yoongi" Jin said, pulling the man towards Yoongi. "Min what?" the man asked. "Yoongi" Jin said. 

"Yoongi, this is Kim Namjoon, the other worker we told you about. He joined here around five years back" Jin said. "Nice to meet you, Namjoon-ssi" Yoongi extended his hand towards Namjoon with a big grin on his face. 

Namjoon frowned at Yoongi, looking back and forth from his hand to his face. "Nice to meet you too" he smiled awkwardly. Yoongi grinned again before going to the kitchen. 

Namjoon took a deep breath before turning to Jin. "I am resigning" he said. 

Everyone gasped collectively. "Okay, I laughed, now get to work" Jin said. "No, I mean it! I am resigning! I am going to Busan. I came here to resign, not to work" Namjoon said. 

Jin stared at him and looked at the rest of them. He pulled him away from the rest and took him out. They both came back an hour later. "He went mad suddenly. He is not going anywhere. I convinced him to stay" Jin said. "Now get back to work!" he yelled. 

"Tae, pass the glass" Namjoon said. "Tae! Pass the gla-........you are mad at me, right? Aigoo, I am very sorry!" Namjoon said, abandoning his work and hugging Taehyung. "Let go, you bastard! I don't wanna talk to you!" Taehyung whined as he hit Namjoon's chest. 

"I had my reasons, Tae! Please don't make it hard for me! I am very sorry for not telling any of you" Namjoon tried convincing him. Taehyung silently glared at him before breaking out of the hug and passing him the glass. 

"Can I join you guys?" all of them turned their heads, shocked to hear that Yoongi was willing to stay back after work. "YOU wanna STAY??" Jimin asked, his eyes going wide. "Can't I? Okay, sorry" Yoongi said and turned back. 

"Ahh, no, no! Come! Join us" Jin said and made him sit between Jungkook and Namjoon. "Didn't you say you had work?" Jungkook asked. "Nah! Not anymore! I am done with my work" Yoongi said and smiled at Jungkook, who simply scowled back at him. 

"Guess what! I finally beat their asses in Overwatch yesterday!" Jimin exclaimed. "Really? You won over THEM?? Wah! I can't believe this!" Hoseok said, excited that both, Taehyung and Jungkook lost. 

"Namjoonie! What is wrong with you?? Why are you soo silent??" he asked Namjoon, who was silently chugging down glasses and glasses of beer. Namjoon stared at Hoseok for a while before snorting and shaking his head and going back to his drink. 

"You are drunk" Jin said. Namjoon refilled his glass and chugged it down without sparing a glance at Jin. "Oh my god, why are you doing that??" Jimin asked. "There goes the second bottle" Hoseok said. 

Jungkook reached out and held his hand to stop him from opening the third bottle. "DON'T TOUCH ME" Namjoon yelled, his eyes wild and his face flushed. His eyes contained a fierce fire and his body language made the others feel intimidated. 

"What's wrong with you?!" Jungkook asked him with tears in his eyes. "Don't touch me. Don't stop me. Don't talk to me. Is that clear?" Namjoon glared at them. Everyone nodded,  their eyes wide with fear. 

They looked at each other and spent some more time in an awkward silence. Namjoon almost completed his fourth bottle before passing out. 

"Let's take him home" Jin said. "Where does he live?" Yoongi asked. "Two blocks away from here. We three live in the same apartment" Hoseok said as Jin tried to piggyback Namjoon. "Kookie, help me" Jin said. 

"Nice. You three and these three live in groups, huh?" Yoongi asked. "Nah! They live in the same flat. We live in different flats. Just the same floor" Hoseok replied. "Let's go, let's go. He is heavy" Jin said as he finally stood up with Namjoon on his back. 

"This is my first time seeing him like that" Taehyung mumbled, unshed tears sparkling in his eyes because of Namjoon's behaviour. 

"If it gets hard, I will carry him for some time" Hoseok said. "Yeah, okay. Jiminie, lock the cafe before leaving. Come earlier tomorrow. Bye, guys. Good night" Jin hollered and the three left.

Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook kept worrying continuously about why Namjoon behaved that that while Yoongi remained cool and unbothered by it. 

"We gotta leave at six tomorrow. Please get ready faster" Jimin said as they reached their flat. "Okay. Good night, guys"  Yoongi said. "Good night" Jimin and Taehyung said before getting in.
