Set sometime in Pan's 4th year and Trunks' 6th.

The second task of the tournament was over and Pan finally had the feeling in her fingers back. The water in the lake had been frightfully chilly but thanks to Vegeta-San's warming potion she felt much better.

The castle was quiet, and Pan was sure she was one of the few still awake. She couldn't sleep though. Her mind was too restless on the thoughts of the day.

Slowly, Pan walked until she neared a familiar abandoned classroom. It was one that was used frequently by her and the others when they needed to meet together and scheme things. However, she figured her friends would be asleep, so it would be the perfect place to sit and think.

Pan opened the door and let out a small gasp. Sitting in the far corner of the room was Trunks- the culprit behind Pan's restless thoughts.

"You're not asleep?" Pan asked as she shut the door behind her.

"No, I got too much on my mind," Trunks whispered.

Pan didn't say anything as she walked over to him and sat down beside him. Even though he was the cause of thoughts, Pan felt calmed by being beside him. He had that affect on her.

"Did you drink the potion my dad made?" Trunks asked her.

"Yeah, did you?"

"Yeah," Trunks answered.

It was quiet again. Pan moved her feet side-to-side slowly. Her and Trunks had a rather strange relationship. Her first year, she didn't care much for him, that is until she got to know him. Her second year, he saved her life and he did it again twice in her third year. Now, he was the man who had named her as his most precious person, the one he had rescued from the merfolk under the lake.

When Kibito-San has told her that she would be going into a deep sleep until Trunks found her and rescued her she was completely shocked. Her? Not his best friend Goten or little sister Bulla?

Trunks saved her from the lake and his blue eyes had been the first thing Pan had seen when she came to. Her stomach had been fluttering ever since then. Honestly, her stomach had been fluttering ever since the Yule ball and their dance when they almost-

Pan's cheeks felt hot. "Trunks," she turned to face him.

"Yeah?" He glanced at her.

"I heard that the headmaster cast a spell on you all to reveal who your most precious person was. Why me?"

"Do you really have to ask?" Trunks asked quietly. "Or do you want me to say it out loud?"

Pan felt her heart pounding against her chest. "You've never missed a chance to be outspoken before," she told him with a twitch of her lips.

Trunks grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him as a smirk carved onto his face. "I like you, Panna. I think I've liked you from the moment on the train when you put me in a headlock and yelled at me for bringing a spider on board."

Pan let out a laugh as she nodded. "Me too. I like you too. Even though you called me a crazy girl when we first met," she pouted at him.

"You had me a headlock," he reminded her.

"And you brought a spider on the train," Pan huffed back. "You-"

Trunks pulled her wrist forward and the space between them disappeared. His lips were on hers and she was buzzing. Her eyes closed as he let go of her wrist and her hands came up to his shoulders to steady herself. Trunks' arms wrapped around her waist, holding her tightly as his lips moved against hers.

Pan's face was warm by the time they pulled away

Pan's face was warm by the time they pulled away. She smiled at Trunks shyly, "do you still think I'm a crazy girl?"

His smirk widened, "you're the craziest witch I know."

This time, Pan was the one to lean down and kiss him.
