As she sat on her bed, she realised she had left her takeaway that she'd bought for dinner in the living room. But she was too drained emotionally to go there and face Alan again. So she decided to have a shower first.

After having a rather comforting shower, she had a conversation with Reece. Knowing she couldnt wait anymore for she was really hungry and exhausted; she stepped out of her room to go to the living room again. She groaned realising Alan hadnt still left. She decided to ignore him, just like she'd told him to; and began her search for her dinner.

She found it odd enough when she didnt find her takeout anywhere in the living room. She went to check in the kitchen, just in case Alan had put it in there.

But after 15 minutes of her crucial hunt for her dinner, she lost her patience, fought with her ego; and went to Alan.

"Where is my dinner?" she asked, not looking at him.

"I'd tell you, but then again, you arent supposed to know." he said shrugging.

"And what the hell do you mean by that?" she was trying hard not to slap his face, as anger took over her.

She was hungry, tired and now she had to deal with him.She tried calming herself down by blowing a puff of air from her mouth.

Alan tried his best not to laugh as he saw she was clearly trying to hold her anger. He knew she had a bad temper.

"Chloe" he statred off, as if testing the waters, "As you mentioned very dearly previously, I am supposed to be a ghost. You cant see me, cant talk to me and are positively unaware of my existence" he said qouting in the exact same words that she had used. "So that means you'd be unaware that its consumed by me." And saying this, his mouth broke into a huge grin.

He was enjoying this all too well !

Hearing this, Chloe was shivering with anger. She could murder him right now and never regret it. But then he wasnt even worth the pain. She knew arguing with him was saying that Romeo never loved Juliet. Stupid, right?

She gave him a dirty look and aimply said, "You havent changed one bit. You always were a jerk and still are. Keep up with the act."

And with that she turned her back to him, signalling she didnt want to talk to discuss anything with him any further.

Tired and exhausted, she grabbed coke and chips with her to her room without giving him a second glance.

So after about 30 minutes when she heard a knock on her door, she wondered if he was finally leaving.

But Alan walked in with a tray - consisting two plates of some noodles and soda. Without further permission he walked to her bed and placed the tray between them, sitting on the edge of the bed as he did so.

"What is this Alan?" she asked both confused and irritated.

"Dinner."

"Oh you felt guilty for something you did?" she fake gasped. "I am surprised to say the least."

"I did not make us dinner because I felt guilty. And since you've brought up the topic, I'd like to tell you I dont regret eating that takeout. Idid it on purpose."

" Purpose to strive me to death?'

"So you havent stopped the sarcasm after all these years, huh? Well honestly, I ate it so I'd be able to make us dinner."

seeing confusion etched all over her face, he futher elaborated; " By what I remember, I once promised you to cook dinner for us and have it together."
