Inspired by the song 'Girl Almighty' from the album 'Four'
The assembly is just beginning when you shuffle through the auditorium doors, tugging nervously at the hem of your shirt. A few teachers shoot you questioning glares, but it doesn't matter. Not as you smile to yourself, thinking back to first period, when you had excused yourself to the bathroom after watching Harry pass your classroom. Your collarbone is tender as you absentmindedly press two fingers to it, to the newly formed lovebite.
After finding yourself a seat, you tap your foot vigorously against the wooden floorboards. The assembly dragged on and on for what seemed like years, but you tune in when Harry steps up to the microphone. With a shit-eating grin pasted on his face, he stares you down from across the auditorium and you fight the urge to blush. Niall, Louis, Liam, and Zayn are busy plugging in amps and testing instruments when Harry drops his gaze.
"This is a song I wrote," he begins and a few whoops and claps rise from the mass of students. Everyone knows that when Harry Styles writes a song, it's always a masterpiece. He had become quite famous around school, much to his ego's approval. "I wrote it about a very special girl."
Chairs creak and groan as almost every student turns to look at you. You hide your face behind your hands and stifle a laugh.
"This is Girl Almighty." With a strike from the snare, the song begins. Immediately, the students start to move. Whether they're nodding their heads to the beat, stomping their feet, or clapping their hands, the song instantly draws them in. Harry's voice, as always, is addicting to listen to. The slight raspiness and utter strength behind it is just so... Hot, you find yourself thinking.
"Let's have another toast to the girl almighty. Let's pray we stay young, stay made of lightning." The boys sing in unison, harmonies blending together perfectly. Groups of students are standing up now, dancing in place. You find yourself wanting to join them, but can't seem to move. People will look at me, you think to yourself, but then you just roll your eyes. People are looking at me anyway! May as well have some fun with it.
You stand up, feeling hundreds of eyes instantly upon you, but it's too late now. You cross the auditorium to the front where a dozen girls from your year are dancing. They're all smiling while they dance with reckless abandon at the foot of the stage, and you join them. You free your hair of its braid and smile, launching into the movement of bodies.
"I'd get down, I'd get down, I'd get down on my knees you." The boys sing, and you blush slightly. But then, Harry sings the same phrase solo, but changes one word that causes your whole face to flush a brilliant scarlet.
"I get down, I get down, I get down on my knees for you."
It appears you're not the only one to notice this slight innuendo. Around you, the girls you're dancing with smirk, giggle, and shriek, knowing exactly what Harry is implying. Unfortunately, so do some of the teachers, they stare down their noses at you but you just sigh. You're having an awesome time and you're not about to let some middle-aged men and women ruin it for you.
As the song comes to an end, Harry pulls you up onto the stage. He presses his forehead to yours as he sings the final lines of the song, grinning the whole time. Then, with four final beats of the drums and strums of the guitars, the song finishes, and the auditorium erupts in thunderous applause. Harry grabs your hand and raises it in the air.
"This is my girl almighty! If you don't get down on your knees for your own, boys, I suggest you do it. They love that-"
"That's enough Styles!" The principle booms, gently shoving Harry away from the microphone as the auditorium fills with laughs and whistles. You and Harry walk hand-in-hand backstage where he presses you against the wall and places a gentle kiss onto your lips. Your eyes flutter closed as he presses another to your cheek.
"You know I'd do anything for you, right?" He whispers, leaving a trail of kisses down your jaw.
"You better." Your breath hitches in your throat as he kisses your lips once more, this time a little stronger.
"I love you, okay. So, so much."
You're taken aback by his declaration, but you can see the truth in his eyes.
"Do you really mean that?"
"Yes. I didn't think it was possible to love one person so much." Harry leans his forehead against yours, eyes closed. "But I do, and it's you."
You reach up, grabbing the back of his neck, and kiss him deeply.
"I love you, too."

Author's Note
I really liked this chapter, oh my god. But just, I know they're called imagines for a reason, but just IMAGINE if Harry wrote this song about you and sang it in front of your school. HOLY SHIT that would be EPIC!!
Anyway, I hope y'all are having a good day. If not, just watch videos of Harry falling over on stage.
Treat people with kindness.
xoxo,
Butterfly :)
