Black Wings A Cast of Magic

Chapter 6

A/N: OK so for everybody reading this I am just gonna be really nice and post chapter 6. Now for the "Everybody be mad at me" part. I have all of the chapters written up till 16 done and have just not updated. here go.

We had been walking for at least an hour when the sun finally started to rise streaking the sky with purple and yellow streaks. I was exhausted it felt like my legs where falling of and all I wanted to do was sleep.

yet at the same time I really wanted to get to these Spirit-foxes. so I asked. "Bailey when are we getting there?"

Bailey kept walking but turned her head and said. "soon, soon Nigra but at the same time far."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means that I'm not explaining."

"Why?"

"have you ever been told that you talk to much."

"Yes."

"Well please stop talking I need to remember how to get there from here, the place moves around in this forest every other dawn when your inside the force field then you teleport with them."

"Wait we don't know how to get there. I was annoyed we really where just walking around the forest, no way to find them."

"I know what your thinking that I don't know where I'm going well guess what your wrong I have a poem that tells me where to go."

"Well what is it."

then Bailey resited

"Across the forest every night, see the dawn streaks with the light, Darkness ascends to make it right, you'll find us on a hill so tight."

"That's it, that's really veg."

"I know but that's what we've got so that's what we've got."

"that's it wow I'm astound."

"Lets camp here and then we can figure out how to do the riddle."

"Fine but we have till sunset then we leave K."

"OK."

We set up the tents and a small fold up table (Witch I have no idea how it fit in the backpack that Bailey brought.)

I sat down and opened up my bag, rustled through it and pulled out a slightly wrinkled piece of paper and pencil. I started writing down the poem and make connections.

I noticed that the in the poem all of the last words rimmed and that it all had to do with nature.

that was all though not much to go on.

well we did do the forest part we walked across forest toward the dawn light but we hadn't done the darkness ascends part or the hill part which made me wonder if there was more to it then what it seems.

I thought for a moment that it was a place if only i knew where I was.

"Hey Bailey do you know where we are?"

"Ya we're in Canada."

"We are!"

"Ya"

"Do you know where there's a really good view of the stars near here?"

"Yes Castrof falls."

"Is that In the direction of the rising sun."

"Oh my gosh, I think it is."

"So we keep walking that direction then."

"I guess so."

"KODI" Bailey yelled. Kodi walked out of his tent not much concerned that Bailey had yelled at him to get out. go start packing your things but leave the stuff that NEEDS to stay out we're going to Castrof falls.

Nigra do you have a problem with falls or something cas when you fell it was Niagara falls. He smirked. then said. "Get it."

Once he was gone Bailey looked at me and rolled her eyes. I laughed, now THAT was funny.
