A/n: It's here! Hold on to your seats, folks, this story is about to get wild! I'm thinking of doing maybe a couple of POV changes because Shoa will now be coming into the picture.

Thank you all for supporting this story, it means a lot to me~

The ship rocked beneath us, though the hammock I was in kept up and didn't let me fall out.

The Northern water tribe were kind enough to escort us to Earth Kingdom territory, as their boats were faster than Appa, and would give him a break. Once we reached land, we would set out for Omashu so King Bumi could train Aang.

I heard someone sigh and footsteps hit the floor. I peeked open my eyes to see Aang going up to the deck, and Katara followed behind him. It was probably none of my business, so I closed my eyes again. I was surprised it wasn't Sokka this time. He had been known to get up and go outside in the middle of the night, probably to stare up at the moon.

Or is Yue now? I mean, her name also means moon, but it sounds less creepy to say he's staring at the moon rather than Yue.

I was woken again in the morning by Sokka gently shaking me awake. I blinked sleepily at him.

"It's time to go. Come up to the deck when you're ready." Sokka said simply and I nodded.

I packed up my sleeping bag and any belongings that weren't already packed into a backpack that was provided by the water tribe. I walked up to the deck, briefly jumping onto Appa's saddle to secure my things, before joining the rest of the gang.

Master Pakku and some members of the Northern water tribe had boarded the ship and stood before us; they were sailing to the Southern water tribe to help rebuild the sister tribe. Master Pakku had a small bag with him and pulled out a necklace.

"Katara, I want you to have this," He handed her the necklace. "This amulet contains water from the spirit oasis. The water has unique properties. Don't lose it."

Katara walked forward and gave him a hug. "Thank you, Master Pakku." She then stepped back and got on Appa.

"Aang," Master Pakku took out a box that was carved with the water tribe insignia. "These scrolls will help you master waterbending. But remember, they're no substitute for a real master." Master Pakku looked towards Katara, and Aang followed his gaze with a smile. He bowed to Master Pakku and turned to get on Appa as well.

"Aya, Sokka," Master Pakku put a hand on our shoulders and patted it. "Take care." Sokka looked disappointed, but for me, there was nothing else that the water tribe could give me.

I jumped up on Appa, and Sokka followed after me.

"Fly straight to the Earth Kingdom based to the east of here." Master Pakku pointed in the direction with his finger. "General Fung will provide you with an escort to Omashu. There you'll be safe to begin your earthbending training with King Bumi."

Aang immediately took the reins. "Appa, yip yip!"

"Say hi to Gran-Gran for me!" Katara called out as we flew up into the air.

~~~
It didn't take us long to reach the Earth Kingdom, thanks to the help of the Northern water tribe.
"There it is!" I called out, sitting up a little taller in the saddle. The large Earth Kingdom militia base was hidden within the mountains, but the golden colored towers and white walls had immediately stood out from the green and grey landscape.
Appa landed on a platform located on the roof of one of the golden towers. As we climbed down with our bags, an Earth Kingdom General with a large brown beard and his men marched up to us.
