It was the next day, Saturday, and Calum and I had no idea what to do today. We had been sitting around for awhile, trying to think of something to do before I remember something.
I turned to Calum and grinned, the Maori boy giving me an uneasy look as I jumped up and pulled him by the hand to our- I mean, my backyard.
I led him past the small gate that leads to the pool, turning to look at him to catch him staring in awe, once again frozen. I giggled at him causing him to look at me and glare.
"You were frozen again." I smiled at him.
"I was not, Luke." He grumbled, stepping closer to the pool.
"Yes, you were." I giggled again.
"Baby!" I laughed loudly as he yelled jokingly at me, picking me up and running towards the pool.
"NO! NO, CALLY I'M SORRY!!" He laughed at me, setting me gently at the edge of the pool before sitting next to me. We both looked at each other, thinking the same thing. We sat down at the edge of the pool, putting our feet and legs in the water, sitting on the edge as we kicked gently.
"Ya' Know what I'm thinking, right?" Calum asked softly, wrapping his arms around my waist before kissing my head softly.
"I want pizza roles?" I asked. He laughed, taking his feet out of the water and getting his phone from where he left it on the table. He ran back to the pool, carefully, and sat back down next to me.
"If you want, and I'm not at all saying that you have to, but if you want to... We could call Michael and have him and Ashton come over. We wouldn't be so bored and we could have a really fun time? Maybe?" He laughed at himself, putting his phone to the side.
"Oh... Yeah, I don't mind. I'd love to have more company, ya' know. Not that you're not good enough, it's just more fun with more people sometimes."I laughed, hugging his waist. He smiled at me.
"You want me to call Mike, yeah?" he asked me.
"Yeah." I whispered.
_Ashton and Michael got to my house soon after. It turns out that Michael didn't live very far from me and only took about 15 minutes to get here. Calum and I had found some of my brothers old swimming shirts and were already in the water, splashing each other with water like two children. We were laughing, giggling and just enjoying ourselves as Ashton and Michael made out against the house, Literally.
I knew it was hurting Calum to see them doing such a thing, because it hurt me too, and once again when I looked into the Maori's eyes, I saw how sad and broken they were. I'm sure he saw the same in mine. It turns out, Michael hates swimming, and Ashton did not have swimming trunks because of... whatever excuse he gave me.
"HEY, MIKE!" Calum yelled, leaning on the edge of the pool next to me..
"YOU MIND IF WE BORROW ASH FOR A FEW MINUTES??" I laughed as he continued yelling, smacking his shoulder lightly to make him stop.
"WHY ARE YOU YELLING?" Michael yelled back to Cal, only making my laughter louder.
"MICHAEL, YOU ARE YELLING!" Ashton yelled, throwing a scolding glare Michael's way. I wiped some fake tears from my eyes, looking over at the Maori boy next to me, who chuckled and wrapped an arm around my waist.
"Hey Ash?" I asked, gently. He looked at me and smiled sheepishly, eyes going soft.
"If you wanna swim there are some trunks in the living room." I could see the Hazel eyes boy beginning to consider it, but all it took was one glance at Michael for him to decline.
