The next day it was easier to talk to Calum. He wasn't as distant and he made an effort to talk to me more. It made me happy to see him open up to me a little bit more as time went on. When we woke up this morning, Calum had moved from the bed to the floor, with me. I was startled when I woke up and tried to escape his grasp.
"Twink, stop moving." He whispered into my hair. He had his arms wrapped around me tightly and I could see the veins and muscles in his arms, his breath against my head made goosebumps form on my neck and arms. His body was pressed against mine gently but firmly and he was spooning me.
"Calum, I have to wee!" I whispered, trying to escape his grasp as I snapped out of my thoughts. He chuckled and held me closer to him.
"You'll survive." I huffed and gave up, gasping as he held me tighter. He reached an arm up and ran it through my hair causing me to smile shortly before the door to my room opened.
"Boys, time to get ready for school. Its Friday!" Calum groaned and rolled over, putting the covers over his head to hide from my mother.
"That's the spirit, Calvin!" My mum teased, shutting the door and leaving the two of us to sit in silence.
"Your mum is mean to me." I laughed at the maori before getting up and beginning to strip my clothes quickly.
As I was beginning to put on another pair of pants Calum burst out laughing.
"You have teenage mutant ninja turtle boxers?!" He laughed loudly. I blushed as I tugged my pants up before taking another pair of underwear and chucking it at the bundle of blankets on the floor.
"Pick out some of my clothes. These don't fit me because they're too big so they might fit you." I said, giving him an outfit that I've never worn before.
"Thanks."

"I cant believe i have to wear your french fry boxers" Calum grumbled, walking beside me as we went into the school. I let out a small laugh at him comment before walking over to Ashton, who I then noticed was making out with Michael. I felt my heard drop.
"Hey guys." Calum smiled. Ashton jumped and squealed as his face turned slightly red.
"H-hey Calum! You're never here this early..." I was about to open my mouth to reply to Ashton's comment before Calum slapped a hand over my mouth. I whimpered and placed my hands over my mouth as my eyes watered involuntarily.
"I was stayed at Sierra's." The maori shrugged and wrapped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me closer as a silent apology. Michael nodded, throwing Cal and I a weird expression that we both chose to ignore. Ashton shrugged and shot us a smile before speaking.
"Are you gonna take Sierra to homecoming Calum?" The Maori removed his arm from my shoulders before shaking his head slowly.
"She's my friend Ash. Nothing more, nothing less. Stop trying to pair me up with people just because you and mike are together." Calum rolled his eyes before he turned and walked away, all of our eyes following him as he went. The couple turned to look at me with surprised expressions. I laughed nervously at them before jutting my thumb out in Calum's direction and taking off after him. I didn't want to be alone with my ex-bff and his cat.

By the time lunch came around i was sitting alone at a table, waiting patiently and looking around desperately for my friends. I smiled in relief when i spotted Ashton walking over to the table and shot him a small wave to show him where I was. As the golden blond walked closer to me I spotted Calum farther behind him, staring holes into his back before following in his footsteps to the table.
"Hi guys! Where's Mitchell?" I asked. Calum let out a loud puff of air Ashton gave me a mad look.
"Michael went hone because he didn't feel good." He said simply, shrugging his shoulders. I nodded and gave a small smile of apology that Ashton noted and ignored. That made me sad.
I was only kidding...
After a few minutes Ashton got over what I said and we started joking with Calum about a lot of things. Lets just say, we were laughing way too much and way too loudly.
"Looks good Ash!" Ashton laughed, watching as Calum tried not to spit out his milk only to fail as it shot out of his nose.
"Oh no Calum!" Ashton giggled loudly, ignoring the people around us shooting glares."Help me! It burns!!" Calum squealed, laughing loudly. I grabbed my napkin and gave it to him, giggling slightly as he blew his nose.
"That was hilarious." I giggled with Ashton like a schoolgirl and Calum laughed silently with his head in his hands and his elbows sitting on the table.
"SHH!" We heard someone from a random table.
"Oh shut up!" Ashton yelled back. I giggled along with him once more.
It was nice to see this side of the blonde again and it was good to see Calum so genuinely happy. I wish it could be like this all of the time. They both seemed to get along with each other and they both got along with me pretty well too. So, why weren't they happy together yesterday?
I could only think of one thing that
was different about today.Michael was not here.

As school ended, Calum and I invited Ashton to come home with us.
"Are you sure you don't wanna hang out with us some more? We had a fun day and your mom knkw my family..." I trailed off. Calum wrapped an arm around my waist and hugged me closer.
Ashton gave a nervous laugh and scratched the back of his head.
"Well, she doesn't exactly know you're here..." He trailed off as well. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"You didn't tell her? Why not, Luke told his mom when we got in the car. You tell your mom everything Ash, did something happen?" Ashton let out another nervous laugh and scratched his arm, snapping a purple rubber band on his arm twice. Had he always done that?
"It just slipped my mind I guess... But i have plans with Michael today anyways... So I wouldn't be able to go. Sorry." The blond said quietly. I smiled at him and patted his shoulder.
"Maybe another time, yeah?" I whispered. He smiled back shortly.
"Maybe, yeah..." We were interrupted as a Black BMW stopped in front of us and honked, very loudly may i add. Ashton jumped and turned around, send Cal and I a small smile and a wave before getting into the expensive car.
I watched in silence as the car drove away, making a loud 'screech' noise as the tires rolled across the road. That car looked so familiar... Calum let out a scoff and I turned to look at him in confusion.
"He can be so rude sometimes. And a little dumb..." He said, shaking his head. I tilted my head slightly.
"Who?" I asked. Calum turned to me and smiled, ruffling my hair slightly causing me to whine as he messed up my quiff.
"Michael. That was his car." He said, shaking his head in dismay. I face-palmed and shook my head as well.
"I knew it was familiar. I thought he was sick?" I asked. Calum laughed and wrapped an arm around me, pulling me closer once again.
"He's not. He's faking. Which is why He's dumb for coming here again to pick up the flower." The maori rolled his eyes.
"The flower?" I asked. Calum simply nodded.
Since when did anyone call Ashton 'Flower'...
