You had a beautiful girl.
She was gorgeous.
Smart.
Funny.
Witty.
Most of all, she was herself.
But you didn't see that.
You saw that she was popular.
Saw that by dating her you would get that popularity.
Get close with the boys.
And even closer with the "hot" girls.
She was too innocent to notice your cruelty.
But you continuously used her.
Used her to get what you wanted.
And never really took time to look at the amazing person in front of you.
The person that loved you.
Loved you with her whole heart, when you didn't even care about her.
When she found out what you were doing, she cried.
That's when you knew.
Knew you loved her all along.
You tried to say sorry.
Tried to fix things between you two.
But it was useless.
She was gone.
And it was your fault.
You had her the whole time.
And as soon as she left, you realized your mistake.
You realized that you needed her.
But she realized she was better off without you.
She realized that you pulled her down.
Made her be less.... her.
And without you she was stronger.
Without you she was herself.
And you knew you had to let her go.
Even if it hurt.
It was the right thing to do.
For her.
