Heart to Heart

Chapter 2

Theo POV

I wake up from my brief nap, where am I? Right, at Shai's. Where is she?

Standing up I glance around the living room and the kitchen, hm no sign of her. Walking towards her bedroom, I see her.

Laying on the bed, she's hugging her pillow on her side. She looks peaceful, adorable, and as always beautiful. Hm I have no idea she could look this beautiful when she's asleep. Somehow, i feel calm just by seeing her in this state. I lean on her doorway, just staring at her relax body, her parted lips, her messed up hair, for God knows how long.

At some point, she stirs, "I can feel you staring at me, Theo" I blushed feeling like I got caught doing something bad.

"Sorry," I eventually says.

She opens her eyes slowly, so beautiful! And smiles beautifully, "It's fine," she stares at me for a moment, and then tap the side of the bed, giving me the gesture to sit on it beside her.

I walk towards her bed, and sit down without my eyes leaving her. She still looks sleepy, but beautiful in a way. Then she stretch herself by kicking her heels while she arch her body and stretching her arms above, and I see her tanktop rises and giving me a full on view of her flat stomach and a bit of her lacy underwear.

Snapping me from my thoughts, she asked, "So, what do you want to eat for dinner?"

"I don't know, anything I guess," I shrugged. I don't know, how am I suppose to think about dinner when you look this fucking beautiful beside me? Shit!

"Okay I'll cook then. Pasta? Is that okay?" Giving me a cute smile, God I'm hopeless. Why do i feel like this?!

"Yes, of course," sitting up, she then crawl over beside me, "Theo, why do you look so nervous?"

What? Am i that obvious?! "Uhm, i'm just sleepy, Shai,"

"Oh, okay, I'm going to start cooking then. Make yourself at home." Putting her hand on my shoulder in attemp to stand up, i help her by pushing her waist. She then smiles at me, and walk toward the kitchen to start cooking.

Leaving me alone, on her bed, with my little thoughts. Putting me head on my hands, this is become even stressful. Do I like her? Well I like her because i'm her friend. Or do i want more? God this is so frustrating! Come on Theo, get your head together, you just got out of a stupid realtionship, take it slow, champ!

Making my way towards the kitchen, i see her. God, i am in aww of her. She's so beautiful. She doesn't know i'm gawking at her right now, she's too busy with food in front of her. Look at her! Those legs, damn she got long legs.

I try to busy myself by looking at the window overlooking LA, then it hits me. Walking towards her, i called her, "Uhm Shai,"

She turns to face me, with a cute smile, "Yes Theo?" Lord help me!

"Uhm, sleeping arrangements," why am I so nervous?

"Theo this is going to sound weird," wait, now she's nervous. What does she had in mind? "I don't like seeing you sleeping on the couch, why don't you sleep with me on my bed? You know, it's big enough for both of us, and i know that couch will give your back a hard time. Well if you want to."

I don't know what to think. Is this for real? She's asking me to sleep with her. I know i'm not a big fan of couches, "Well uhm, i don't like sleeping on the couch, i've been there. Not a big fan. But i don't want to disturb you, what if i snore?"

She stares at me wide eyes, and start to laugh loudly. "What? Well what if i snore? I think it's a humanly thing to snore, Theo. I wouldn't mind"

"Oh okay then," Am i really doing this for who knows long, "Yes, i'll sleep with you"

She smiles, "Good," and she turns back to cooking.

After she's done, she brings the food to the table, it looks weird, not the kind of pasta i had in mind. "Uhm Shai? What is this?"

"What? Oh, it's aglio olio, you know? With wheat pasta if you're wondering." She grins, i don't know what to say, do i want to eat this? "Hey, it taste good, trust me, now eat, cause i'm not gonna cook again"

I picked up my fork and start to dig in. Hm, here goes nothing. Putting in my mouth, i chew with surprise, swallowing and can't help but smile, "Oh you're right, it is good. Damn woman you can cook"

She laugh and blushes. "See? Told you!"

Swallowing for the last time, "Thank you Shai, this is good,"

"Anytime, Theo" glancing at the clock, she then said, "it's 8pm, what do you wanna do?"

Looking down at my clothes, "Probably a shower will do,"

Her hazel brown eyes just stares at me, what are you looking at Shai? "Uhm, okay"

Standing up, i take the dirty dishes and put it on the dish washer, still feeling her eyes on me, "Wanna come with me?"

"Huh? What? To where?" Her face is shocked and confused at the same time. Oh i like that.

"To the bathroom, take a shower with me?" I looking at the wide eyes getting wider by the second.

She blushes and eventually said, "Haha, no Theo, you wash yourself alone, i'm going to wash the dishes" eventually we both chuckles.

She stand up, walking towards the dishes, she passes at me, i don't know what's gotten into me, i take her wrist, stopping her tracks, she then glance up at me, those eyes! Releasing her wrist, i shake my head, "Sorry, i'm going to clean up."

Without turning back, i stroll down towards her bedroom, gathering all my clothes i step into the bathroom and start to shower. Theo, Theo, Theo, why are you making things so awkward?

Turning of the water, i quickly dry myself and change into my clothes. When i step into the bedroom, i see her sitting on the bed, "Hey, you're done?"

"Yeah"

"Okay, i'm going to brush my teeth" standing up, she then enters the bathroom and closed the door.

I sigh, act normal Theo! Walking towards the bed, i move to the other side of the bed, and crawl into the sheets. Eventually, she comes back into the room, and starting to look nervous, "Theo, you know how i dress when i sleep, i hope you don't mind."

"Oh yeah sure, and uhm i do sleep shirtless, is that okay?"

She smiles, "of course, whatever makes you comfortable." Without anymore second, she takes her shorts off leaving her only with her tank top and panties. Her legs, God i can't stop looking at her! "You can take your shirt off now if you want to."

After her permission, I take off my shirt, leaving me shirtless on her bed. She then crawl up beside me, and then put her body underneath the sheets. Both of us then turn off each others lamps and lay down. She surprises me by kissing me on the cheek, "Good night, Theo. I hope you're not sad anymore"

What a nice thing to say before sleeping, i'm dead tired so i just reply, "Thank you, good night to you too, Shai" And just that we both starting to slip off to the dream land with me on my back and her on her side facing away from me.
