"Come on Kuku! Let's go!" Jennie happily took the chocolate brown fluffy creature in her arms and swiftly wore a pair of black Vans shoes.

She grabbed her purse and stopped, wondering whether she should wear a jacket. "What do I do, Kuku?" The brunette puffed out her cheeks as she glanced at her pet that was secured in her arms. She grabbed her phone and quickly tapped on it, looking for the weather forecast. "Hmm let's see whether it's hot enough today..." The small dog observed his mommy with attention as she pursed her lips and strange noises escaped her lips. "Hmmm... It should be warm enough today." She concluded the weather was good and warm enough for her to be able to go out without wearing any jacket.

She quickly slipped her phone into her purse and wore a white mask. It had become a habit to wear a mask in order to hide her face whenever she went out ever since she debuted. As much as she loved her fans, she did not want people to just follow her around whenever she went out, leaving no space for privacy. She was aware her fans would still be able to recognize her if she went out without wearing any additional cap, so she decided wearing sunglasses would do.

She slipped the strap of her purse around her shoulder and stepped out of her dorms, her dog's leash in hand. It only took a couple of seconds for the young woman to exit the tall building.

As soon as the outside's fresh air faintly grazed her face, she inhaled deeply.

"Come on, Kuku. Let's get you on a leash." She pecked the fluffy creature on the top of its head and crouched down as she tied the leash to her dog's glittering collar, before finally letting the lively creature escape her arms.

It was 2 PM, and she had decided to take her dog on a walk. Despite the sunny weather, the streets weren't crowded with people. It was, after all, Monday. The fact it was a weekday only gave Jennie more reasons to go out. Going out on weekends was complicated for her ever since her debuts. People would always recognize her, and that eventually resulted in her being followed around, not giving her much space for privacy. During weekdays, students were at school or university, while older fans usually would be working at this hour. Of course, there still was a risk she would meet people who would recognize her, but that very risk had fewer chances of happening.

"You're happy to be running outside today Kuku, right?" She beamed at the fluffy animal running around, smelling everything around him. "I'm also happy to be outside today." She told her pet. "Should we go to the Han River today, Kuku? There probably aren't many people there right now." She pondered over the idea for a while. She really wanted to the river, but it usually was complicated to go considering many people would go there, mostly on sunny days like those. "Let's just go. It's been a while we didn't go." Jennie shrugged, thinking that if someone did recognize her, then be it.

The park she was headed to was situated on the other side of the bridge. It wasn't far from her dorms at all, but she decided to walk to the main road hoping to catch a taxi anyway. Energy in her steps, a smile tugging on her lips beneath the mask, her ponytail swaying left to right with each of her steps, the young woman happily walked, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her.

Jennie shook her head in disgust as she remembered what had happened earlier that day. A male celebrity had managed to get her number by only God knows what means, and had called her multiple times. Jennie never picking up numbers she didn't know, the chance of those being phone calls made by sasaengs being high, she never picked up his calls. The man had therefore decided to text her. He introduced himself, even seemed sympathetic at first. She had remembered meeting him a few times during her schedule, but she didn't know much about him. She had decided to text him back, out of pure courtesy, unable to deny his sympathy. However, she was proven a few minutes and texts later that, like all the others, he was only after one thing. A few texts were enough for his behavior to change from friendly to flirtatious, something Jennie disliked. She quickly caught on to his intentions, and quickly caught on he probably was just another douche trying to get in her pants, not really expecting anything else from her. She, therefore, decided to turn him down, and she was delighted he caught on her uneasiness and gave up. It wasn't always like that. Sometimes, guys would insist, and she felt strong disgust for those.
