In Between Time | Seongjoong

By the time San had gotten back it was already pretty late but of course that was the plan. Upon arriving he noticed how comfortable the two had become. Seonghwa was spread across the others bed, Yeosang hovered over him as he anticipated the moment Yeosang would flick his forehead.

"Just do it," Seonghwa whined but Yeosang continued to prolong the wait.

"I will," San walked in about to pounce on Seonghwa until suddenly things stopped.  Everything was frozen in its place except for Seonghwa.

How could that be possible? Seonghwa hadn't taken the device out. After a few moments of confusion things remained the way they had been. San landed on the now confused Seonghwa which snapped him from his thoughts.

"Did you freeze us again?" San pulled himself up from Seonghwa enough to see his face.

"No, I-I don't know what just happened. It couldn't have been me..." Seonghwa checked his pockets and sure enough it was there and closed.

"Maybe someone else out there has one?" Yeosang brought up. It could be a possibility but who could it have been. With the little information they had the other device could be anywhere in the world.

"Should we try to find them?" San sat up pulling his phone out.

"How would we do that? We can't just say we have a device that stops time and we're looking for someone with the same ability." Seonghwa pointed out.

"It's the internet though people would probably think it's just a weird joke."

"But that's oddly specific..." Yeosang added.

"Well what if it doesn't freeze time everywhere?" San quizzed.

"What do you mean?"

"What if it freezes time in a certain area? Like it can't reach places farther than what it's capable of. We should get on some livestreams and start with the closest places and go further out and see how many people are affected by it." San made his way to Yeosang's desktop.

"So there's a kid at our school who pretty popular and he goes live almost every night. Let's check if he's on and start there." San typed away searching for his schoolmates account. After sifting through the various similar names he found who he was looking for.

"Ayye thanks for the gold Kenzie." The streamer paused mid play before continuing to strum on his guitar.

"Seonghwa try it." Yeosang urged.

"You both have to touch it or you'll freeze." Seonghwa quickly pulled the device from his pocket and wasted no time pressing the button once the others hands were on it.

They watched as he appeared to be frozen and the Korean comments stopped as well. The ones in English continued and San read them for the others to understand.

Many of the fans were confused as to what had happened and if the connection was bad. Near the names of the users were the flags from their countries and none of them held Korea's flag. 

"Do we need any further examples because it appears that it is only reaching Korea." San turned to face the other two.

Seonghwa had never touched the button again as they were all in too much thought from their discovery. The live had continued and all the comments were back to normal but out of order with the english ones.

"Did you do that?" Yeosang turns his attention to Seonghwa.

"No." Seonghwa presses the button freezing everything again only for it to unfreeze as soon as he pressed the button.

"What..." there's someone out there that knows.

Meanwhile Hongjoong was in the middle of working at Y2 customs. He found it such a hassle that the customers he was trying to assist kept stopping.

"Who the hell has one too?" He whispered to himself running his thumb over the silver device.
