-Nobody's P.O.V-

Aurora was busy stalking a leopard that had unwisely fallen asleep in a place where dragons hunted. She flexed her lethally sharp talons, ready to bring down the dozing jungle cat. But right before she pounced, a black shadow lept across her path and killed the leopard before she could. Aurora lost control of her emotions as a roiling dark red rippled through her scales, "Hey! That was mine!" An ebony black dragon stared at her with a look of confusion on her black snout. Then called out to a patch of empty space beside her.

"Woah, the queen will definitely want to see this Jambu." Aurora tilted her head in confusion, and then lifted her head as she heard something coming through the trees. It was Plumeria, and when she saw the strange dragon, she lunged forward with a roar of fury.

Time seemed to slow down as Aurora watched her sister reach towards the black dragon with outstretched talons. Then out of nowhere, Aurora heard two small puffs of air. They were barely distinguishable amongst the commotion, but Aurora's sharp hearing could still hear the sound of something small whizzing through the air. There was a sudden prick of thorn-sharp pain in her neck, and she started to lift her talons to her neck but stopped halfway. Through the darkness that was starting to obscure her vision, she saw Plumeria laying on the ground, unconscious. Aurora only had a moment to comprehend this before the world sun before her eyes and she lapsed into unconsciousness.

Aurora woke to the sound of voices. She didn't dare open her eyes. Maybe I can find out where I am. She thought in a haze.

"-alone with this one in the forest." It was the voice of the black dragon.

"Thank you Secretkeeper, you may go." Proclaimed another voice. "Jambu, stay here for another moment and talk with me."

That name, the black dragon said something to a dragon named Jambu. What's going on? I have to get out of here. If I move fast enough I should be able to kill them quietly so they cant warn anyone, and I can get away from here. Aurora cracked open her eyelids, which felt strangely heavy, as much as she could without it being noticeable. She looked at the hazy world around her and noticed that Plumeria was laying only a few feet away, groaning softly. Aurora quickly glanced back over at the two dragons speaking in hushed tones in the shadows, hoping that they wouldn't hear her sister's groans. But it was too late, the two dragons craned their necks to get a better look at the two hybrid sisters.

"Look, one of them is waking up!" Exclaimed one of the voices.

No no no, this is going all wrong, if I'm going to pull this off it's now or never! Aurora surged up from where she lay on the wooden floor with a roar, but her claws felt like useless lumps of rock. Her legs wobbled, and she fell right back onto the floor in a heap. Her brain felt as if it had been wrapped in swathes of cotton, and spots of darkness swam in her vision, hovering in and out of sight.

"ROOAARGH! WHAT IN ALL THE MOONS-CURSED CROCODILES DID YOU DO TO ME?" She roared, staggering to her feet once more. Bright raspberry-colored scales assaulted her eyes as a dragon stepped into the sunlight. Jubilant dark eyes peered at her scales with great curiosity.

"Um, I don't mean to be rude but I think these are just normal icewings your majesty." The pink dragon remarked, stepping closer. Aurora snapped her teeth at the alarmingly pink snout and hissed.

"Oh, I wouldn't do that if I were you." A large dragon materialized in front of Aurora, her scales royal blue and purple, shot through with gold. Aurora took a hissing breath in, gathering a small storm inside her just in case she needed it. Plumeria stepped up beside her, eyes defiant. Aurora opened her mouth to speak, and a wall of black scales cannoned into her.
