Chapter 4

I paced down the hallway, waiting anxiously for the baby to born. "Flairess, calm down! She's only been in there for 5 minutes." Clint told me. I ran my hands through my hair. "And? My baby sister is having a baby! I'm going to be an Aunt!" I froze and turned to them. "I'm going to be an Aunt. I'm not ready for this! I don't know how to be an Aunt, or take care of baby's! What if I drop her? Or him?" Thor chuckled. "You will be fine Lady Flairess." I felt arms wrap around me and I looked over my shoulder to see Tony. "He's right you know, you'll be fine." I sighed. "Fine isn't good enough."

~le time skip, bout one hour~
I was sitting down against the wall separating me and Shadow, when the door opened. "She wants you." I looked up to see Bruce looking down at me. I looked around and pointed to myself. He chuckled and nodded. "Ya you." I jumped up and walked inside, finding my sister holding her new baby. I slowly walked forward, afraid that any sudden movements would ruin the moment. The baby was beautiful. With raven black hair with red tips, and forest green eyes, it was the striking resemblance of the couple before me.

Shadow looked up and smiled. "His name is Link Zoroa Laufeyson." I smiled. "He's beautiful." She held him out. "Would you like to hold him?" I cocked an eyebrow. "Do you even have to ask?" She rolled her eyes and smiled. "Obviously not." I grinned and gently took him. I smiled and kissed the baby's head. He blinked his eyes and giggled. I then noticed something. Links eyes were clouded over by a milky substance and he was looking behind me.

"Bruce?" I called in a shaky voice. He hurried over. "Whats the matter?" I handed him the baby. "I-I think he's blind." I heard Shadow gasp and Loki frowned. "Flair, why would you think-" Bruce shined a flashlight in Links eyes and Link gave no reaction. He waved a hand in front of his face and nothing. I felt tears well up in my eyes and I heard Shadow weeping behind me. I looked up to the sky and howled mournfully. "Arceus! Why have you done this to an innocent child?" It angered me further when there was no response. I growled in frustration and grief and stormed out of the room.

I ran into someone and looked up to see Tony. "Flair, babe, what's wrong?" I sobbed into his shoulders. "Oh it's horrible Tony, just awful." Natasha stood up. "Flair what happened. I looked up to her, tears still pouring out of my eyes. "He's blind."
