He's the one!

Is it really you?

Jen POV:
I'm driving to the bar and all I wanna do is hug my best friend. Every feeling inside me can't wait to come out when I tell Leah. I park at the entrance and take a couple of deep breathes to collect myself and then finally go in.

Alex POV:
I hopped in my car and just started driving. Originally, I was gonna go to my buddy franks house, but I decided I need a night to myself so I took a detour to the bar. I walk inside and go sit down for a couple shots of tikila. I asked the bartender to keep them coming. She was very nice and very pretty, but when she handed me my drinks I saw she had a wedding ring on. After what happened to me, I would never do that to anyone else.

Jens POV:
As I go into the bar, Leah and I lock eyes and we immediately run and hug each other, as soon as she hugged me I started bawling my eyes out. It was pretty loud in there so no one could really hear us scream that loud thank god. She takes my hand and takes me to the bar stand where she hands out drinks. "What are you doing here mama, what's wrong why are you crying?" Leah is literally the best, I can talk to her ab anything. "Leah there's something I need to tell you...." I say nervously. "What baby you can tell me anything." I took a deep breathe and said, "M-M- Marc and I are getting a divorce." As soon as I told her my whole face filled up with tears, and I just felt like the world was ending. "Awwww baby I'm so sorry... do you want me to beat his ass , I know where he lives." Everytime she says that it makes me laugh because this isn't the first time he has made me cry like this. "Haha no baby as much as I want you too, I don't think it's necessary." "Ok well at least let me get you a drink for this then." She says with pure certainty it will fix all of my problems. I start to get more comfortable and now I'm looking around to see if I know anybody here. I was searching for a couple mins when I hear someone next to me say "Keep them coming." I couldn't put a voice to a face so I slowly look over to see who it is...... at first I had no clue so I turned back around, but then I looked again and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was Alex Rodriguez....... A.K.A. the guy!

Alex POV:
After a couple of drinks, I was curious to see who else might be here in case I knew them. No one except some fans who had recognized me were familiar here so I went back to my drinks and took my phone out to play a game. I was starting to get bored, so I set my phone down and looked to see if anyone knew came in. With no luck I finally give up... that was until I finally look to my right. "Is that the woman?" "It can't be." All of these thoughts start rushing through my head. As I'm still thinking, our eyes meet but we both quickly look away. I look up again and decided that I can't wait any longer. I want her. Only her.

Jens POV:
As I looked the second time, I caught him staring too, and out eyes met in a strong gaze. We both quickly look away and I have a different feeling that I've never had before. I motion Leah, and tell her to come over to me. " Is everything ok?" She says, knowing how my night has gone. "Everything's fine" I say "Leah, that's the guy!!!" I say trying not to break my next showing her. "Wait him? Like Arod? Alex Rodriguez is your "guy?"" I was kinda upset ab the way she reacted but she's right. "Yes Arod." I say annoyed. "Jen are you ab to hookup with a famous baseball player?!?" Leah gets excited ab this stuff for me, it's annoying sometimes, but I'm glad she cares so much. "You know I don't do hookups, I'm a relationship girl." "I know I know, it's just......... it wouldn't kill you to hit that?" She says curiously. I slapped her arm "No Leah." I say strongly. "Ok ok don't get your panties in a bunch I was just giving you options." I know I just got out of a marriage, but Alex could be my next.

Alex POV:
I stand up and walk over to her with a drink in my hand. I tap her on the shoulder "H-Hi" I said. "Hi Alex, how are you?" She says in her sweet voice. "Wait you know me?" That seemed like a dumb question, but I couldn't take it back. "Ofc I know you, I'm a huge Yankee fan myself." Damn I'm ab to fall in love with this girl. "Wow, good to know." I say with a slight smile. "I didn't catch your name what is it?" She sat there in confusion for a moment and then finally said "J-Jennifer, Jennifer Lopez." "Wait what?!?! How tf did I not know she was JLO what the fuck is wrong with me? Have I had too many drinks, or did I really just not know?" All of these thoughts start rushing back into my head and I feel like passing out. The way my night has gone tonight, this was the last thing I needed.

Jens POV:
.After a couple more mins of talking, we finally decide to start drinking together. Leah kept coming to fill our drinks, and we are  starting to get realllyyyy drunk.

Alex POV:
Drinking with Jennifer is like drinking with my best friend. I really hope this night goes well.
