Chapter 53 : 21st Century Perks

Jungkook asked me to meet at the park in the morning. He said that he will introduce me to his friends, Jaehyun and Eunwoo. He told me that it might be a good opportunity for me to have friends too.

I don't know what to think about what happened last night. Was our kiss a form of answer and solution? Or was it just a random action led by our strong emotions? Nevertheless, it was me who initiated it so I'm supposed to figure it out all by myself.

Once I reached the park, I chose a capacious place void of any people. After a few minutes of standing and waiting for him, I finally saw Jungkook wandering in the middle of the park. "Pst!" I called for his attention. It seemed like he is finding my voice so I called him again. "Here!" I hissed. His eyes finally met mine and he jogged towards my direction.

"Why are you hiding here?" He chuckled and holds my wrist and pulled me out in the open. I observed how he wanted to hold hands with me but I took my hand away from quickly.

"Let's go?" I awkwardly smiled and he nods. I made a huge distance from him as much as possible the moment we are walking down the corridors. But Jungkook keeps walking closer to me.

What if someone picks at him because they figured out that we're in a relationship? Jungkook might be physically strong but he is weak when it comes to emotional troubles. So what will happen if a lot of people will taunt him because he is in a relationship with the same sex?

But the real question is, are we even in a relationship?

No one from the both of us technically declared it last night. We just kissed and that's it.

Later on, I started to see two handsome guys picking at each other in a distance. I begin to feel anxious, it's like I'm meeting up with his parents and we're gonna tell them what's going on between the two of us.

"Jungkook!" The other guy called. Jungkook pulls my arm again towards their direction while I put on my hood with my other hand to hide. I'm trying my best to be discreet, but Jungkook is acting carelessly.

"Hey, guys." Jungkook greeted. "I'd like you to meet, Deonne."

"Hi," I awkwardly shake their hands the moment Jungkook set my arm free.

"Deonne is my--"

"Friend!" I cut him off and laughed. Jungkook looked at me with a creased forehead but I ignored him. "I believe I still haven't gotten your names." I turned to the other two.

"Oh, I'm Jaehyun. And this other tall guy here is Eunwoo." Jaehyun introduced while the Eunwoo guy waved his hand at me. "What time is your first class, Deonne?"

"Nine, why?" I asked back.

"Join us, we'll have breakfast outside." Eunwoo was the one who answered.

"I alre-"

"He'll join us." Jungkook cut me off. Seriously, what is he doing? "Let's go?" The two guys nodded at him and they start to walk towards a different direction while we follow them from behind.

"I already had breakfast," I hissed at Jungkook.

"Grab another," He giggled and I frowned at him.

The direction we're going at was the parking lot and my jaw almost fell when I saw that we'll go out using a very extravagant car. Jaehyun was the one driving, Eunwoo called shotgun while Jungkook and I are seated comfortably at the backseat.

Throughout the ride, I was silent. While the three mischievous boys here are loudly singing whatever is playing on the speaker. It's fine though, their voices are good.
