Jungkook undoubtedly passed the audition for his desired club and we were all gathered outside to celebrate it. We asked Jaehyun and Eunwoo to come with us but they refused politely since they still have to organize and help their club.
The others insisted us to take them to the flying theater, especially Taehyung while Hoseok hates the idea. So we did what they wanted and they both enjoyed how amazing the rude was and how hilarious Hoseok was.
They also noticed how huge the Great Seattle Wheel was so they barged into the ticket booth like kids wanting to have a ride. Yana who is afraid of heights, stayed by my side while we both watch the seven guys who are currently persuading the operators to let them ride in just one gondola.
Of course, due to their safety, the operators didn't agree. In the end, they had to separate into groups of three and four.
"They're childish, aren't they?" Yana chuckled. "Jungkook is doing great, so much for just an improvement."
"Yeah, I'm glad he is." I smiled bitterly while my eyes follow the gondola where Jungkook rode. "He'll be fine, right?" I looked at Yana this time. "He'll understand that I did this out of love, right?"
"Maybe, maybe not," Yana said honestly. I was hoping that she will lie to me and at least make me feel better, but she didn't and even if she did I should've thought independently that things won't get better until I'm hiding my secret from Jungkook.
Yana and I entered the seafood restaurant while we wait for the others. Since they're busy having fun outside, we took charge of ordering our food.
A few minutes after we finished dictating our orders to the waiter, the restaurant was finally filled with noise thanks to our company.
"Yo, Hoseok still breathing?" Jimin teased.
"Dick," Hoseok muttered and Jimin just laughed at him.
Taehyung is sulking because he wanted to have another ride but the others don't want to anymore. Jin and Namjoon are busy talking about how beautiful the view was while Jungkook is playing with Yoongi's hair.
After a lot of bickering on the table, our food arrived and silence enveloped the surroundings. "There's no lobster?" Jin asked us.
But the waiter was the one who answered him, "There was no order for lobster, sir."
"Oh, then we'll have one." He smiled cheekily. When the waiter left Jin looked at Yana and me. "How could you forget my precious lobsters?"
"Not my favorite food," Yana faked a laugh in attempts of saving me.
Jungkook started placing food on my platter and I must say that I'm quite shy in front of his long time friends. Jimin has an evil smirk painted on his face, Hoseok is narrowing his eyes on me, everyone else is acting like they are not seeing anything. Except for Yoongi, who isn't happy at all.
I smiled at Jungkook and then Taehyung handed out his plate in front of Jungkook. "What?" Jungkook was perplexed.
"Put food on mine too," Taehyung pouted and my boyfriend just laughed.
"What's the purpose of your two hands?" Jungkook just brutally answered the poor boy and I was on the verge of laughing. On the other hand, I can see Jimin and Yoongi smirking.
Taehyung took his plate back and frowned.
We continued having our meal with a lot of interesting conversations and for the first time, with decent topics.
"I liked the university," Namjoon complimented.
"You can always transfer." Jungkook persuaded but Namjoon shook his head no.
"I will," Yana suddenly joined the conversation. I looked at her with expectant eyes but when I saw her face, I knew that she was just bluffing. "Just kidding, my brother will turn into a monster if I did."
We were all having fun when we suddenly heard a glass shattered from the other table. All our attention was drawn to them, especially when the lady started yelling at her child who needs special care that might be around six or seven years old.
"Damn it, Yohan! You're always causing problems!" The lady stood up and pulled the child by his arm and scolded him at one corner of the restaurant.
My jaw dropped when we all saw how the mother slapped the kid in the face to make him stop crying. "What the hell?" Yana muttered.
Namjoon and Taehyunv stood up from their seats and started interfering. They were talking to the lady but she's not backing off.
"Ma'am I suggest you stay calm and don't vent your anger to your child," Namjoon spoke like a professional while on the other hand, Taehyung is attempting to make the child laugh instead of crying.
"He's not my child, he's an abomination!" The lady shrieked. This time the other people from their table and restaurant staff joined the conversation as well.
I was busy figuring out the current situation when I heard Yoongi's voice, "Jungkook, are you okay?"
I immediately turned to face Jungkook. His left hand is caressing his forehead and it seems like he is in pain. "Yes, I'm fine." He answered Yoongi.
"You sure?" Jin was worried but Jungkook assured him with a nod.
The incident came to an end with a few talks and arrangements. The father of the child immediately took him and fled away from the restaurant while the mother and the other people from their table are still enjoying like nothing happened.
The moment we are finished with our meals, Yana and the six guys told us that they'll just be waiting in the airport for their flight back to Vancouver.
We bid our goodbyes and later on, only Jungkook and I remained walking on the streets of Seattle. "Are you sure you were okay back there?" I asked.
He smiled at me before taking my hand, "I'm not." He smiled bitterly. "I was reminded of my mom and my head suddenly hurt."
"Do you want to go to the hospital?" I'm glad that he is very honest to me, I wish I could do the same. He laughed at my question and ruffled my hair with his free hand.
"It's just a headache, don't worry too much." He stated.
"But what if it hurt because your phobia of women was triggered?" I asked anxiously.
We both stopped in our tracks as the cold breeze hit us in the streets of Seattle. "Deonne, I'm fine, okay? It's impossible for my phobia to resurface if you're next to me." He beamed. "You're my secret weapon after all," He joked, clearly mocking me from our arguments before.
"What if I will be the reason why your phobia will come back?" I bravely asked. I don't know if it's the wind's fault I'm becoming teary-eyed or it's because of something else.
"That's impossible," He just laughed the question off.
"But what if?" I insisted on getting an answer.
He saw how serious I am this time and his face fell with his lips forming a straight line. He sighed before giving me an answer.
"I don't know, babe. I don't know."
