Chapter Twenty-One: Pureblood

Matilda and Charlie walk into the same office they did what was now eighteen years ago when Matilda was only one. Charlie squeezes his daughters hand. "This brings back so many happy memories."

"I can only imagine." Matilda squeezes his hand in return. Molly follows the two, every bit of her happy knowing all her children are happy and healthy and that she has an army of grandchildren and a great-grandchild and another on the way. They walk into the office Cho Krum stands ready for them. A nine year old boy with curly sandy blond hair, a face covered in freckles and bright green eyes stares up at them. His eyes light up when he sees Charlie.

"Hello, Gideon. Did Mrs. Krum tell you the good news?" Charlie crouches down in front of the boy.

"She did." Gideon nods furiously. Excitement oozes off him. "You're going to be my dad."

"I already am your dad." Charlie holds out his arms and the child runs straight into them.

"I also have a last name now." Gideon chimes. "I am not just Gideon anymore I am Gideon Weasley."

"Yes you are." Charlie taps his nose playfully. Charlie looks up at Matilda. "There is someone I would like you to meet." Matilda crouches down next to her father. "This is Matilda, your big sister."

Gideon looks from Charlie to Matilda and flings his arms around Matilda's neck. "I've always wanted a big sister." Matilda wraps her arms tightly around him.

"And I have always wanted a little brother." Matilda grins from ear to ear her little brother copies her. "Welcome to the family Gideon."

"Thank you Matilda." Gideon hugs her again. The boy had so much love to give just like his new adoptive father.

"Tilly." Matilda corrects out of habit.

"Sorry, Tilly." Gideon drops his head.

"Don't be silly. You didn't know." Matilda laughs and hugs her little brother again.

"I think I already love you." Gideon smiles as Matilda gets up.

"And I think I already love you too." Matilda smiles. Charlie is filled with so much happiness he starts to cry. Molly walks up to her son and pulls him into a side hug while they watch his children walk out of the ministry.

"Your family is complete." Molly says giving her son a squeeze.

"My family." Charlie whispers. "My Matilda and My Gideon."

"Who would've guest I would still be getting grandchildren at my age." Molly jokes. "I thought I was only going to be getting great-grandchildren

Lucas and Matilda sit curled up on the couch watching the news. Matilda only half watches as she texts her little brother. Lucas kisses the top of her head and leans his head on her shoulder. Lucas looks at his girlfriends phone. "It's like you've never not had Gideon in your life."

Matilda giggles. "I kind of like having a little brother."

"I am happy being the only child, thank you very much. I would not want to share my parents." Lucas teases. Her turns Matilda's face so that see looks at him. "I now have to share you with yet another Weasley." Matilda lets out another laugh.

"I am still only your girlfriend." Matilda lays her head on his lap looking up at him. "From this angle you're not so good looking."

"Shut up Tilly." Lucas leans down and kisses her. The two soon end up on their bed.

Krum waits patiently in his office for Matilda to come. He sees her walking towards him. Matilda carries the box with Order of Merlin files. Krum quickly makes his way towards her taking the box and leading her out of the Auror's headquarters just as quickly. "Ready for your first meeting as an Operative."
