starlit drive

starlit drive,
wish i could dissolve into scarlet light,
teenage energy,
that sort of bliss was never meant for me,
inching the dreaded 19,
ive been wasting my soft skin stuck in a head full of rough trees,
could be over exaggerating,
even the fools know thats what makes anything fun and enticing,

young adult movies,
guess they didn't lie when they said dont believe the telly,
they're feeding you groovy dreams,
lifes a reality,
still i choose to live in my own daydreams,
with warm breaths to feel inside my lips,
its the greatest drug along with hands anywhere you want it to be,

living melancholy disguised as glamour and bling,
its the 21st century we're most happy when we can't feel a thing.
