The Princess Of The Dragon Slayers {Completed}

Chapter 14

~Hey! you didn't really think I would leave you hanging, did you?

Day two finally arrived and we're ready to do whatever it takes to win the Grand Magic Games and earn our title as "#1 in Fiore" back. Natsu was going crazy "I'm fired up now!" he shouts as we walk through the hall. 

You could hear the audience all through the hall "What do you think today will be like?" I ask while I put on my silver scale cloak.

They all didn't stop to think 

"We'll win like real men!" Elfman, 

"We're gonna burn them down!" Natsu, 

"They're gonna get frozen" Grey, 

"The odds are in our favor" I like Erza's opinion about the matter. I couldn't help but smile, this was not the team who kicked me out so many years ago "Let's win, for both our masters who are  supporting us!" I show the fairy tail sign, L "Aye!".

The sun shines as we enter the arena, we were the last ones "We're gonna win!" Natsu screams to both the crows and the other guilds. His scream was answered in "Boos!" and "Losers!" I can't help but laugh. I must not have been paying attention, either that or a dragon was present because the wind picks up like crazy through the arena.

Erza looks at me suspiciously while the Pumpkinhead announces our starter game "Chariots!" he yells, followed by the screams of the crowd. 

Whatever it was, it sounded like some sort of race "Oh oh let me!" begged Natsu. 

"Let him," Grey said while laughing "It'll be fun!". I wanted to lecture them about how we wanted to win not utterly fail in the last place spot but I have to admit, it would be hilarious.

He walks off with our cheers in the background "Good luck puking" Elfman yells with no response from Natsu. In an instant, the competitors were teleported onto chariots that were going to lead them through town "And the sickness begins" commented Erza. Not only did Natsu's face turn blue but both Gajeel's and Sting's face turned blue! "What's happening?" Grey asked.

Please! Don't tell me that all dragon slayers have motion sickness 'it's all over for me!' I panic. Why didn't Celestia tell me that all of them had the dumb weakness "This power comes with all surprises" she had said, screw you, mom. My face becomes sickened "I don't like this" Erza looks at me again, not because she was worried about Natsu.

Lucy was hiding something, I could feel it but I couldn't be concerned now. The dragon slayers were tied for last place while the other guilds have already crossed the finish line "Why did we let him compete again?" I ask. I got no real answer so I just had to deal with not knowing the real reason.

Sting stops in his tracks "Why are you trying so hard?" he asks "It's pointless you know" his sick face was covered. 

How dare he! We were fighting for- "We're fighting for our friends" Natsu answered while he crawled "For all the time we were gone". His voice was as serious as he could get, he started talking about how our guild suffered so much while we were absent on Tenrou island.

Everyone in the guild, they were shedding tears like never before even I couldn't help but cry. Lucy was the one who was taking full effect, even if she was on the island with us she suffered just as much pain from leaving the guild. Natsu's ward seemed to give himself strength "And Natsu comes in 6th place earning 2 points for his team." The crowd cheers.

The rest of the day was very eventful, Raven Tail's Black Snake beat Lamia's Scale's Toby and tore his sock apart, poor puppy. Elfman showed his true strength and will to protect his sisters against Quatro Cerberus's Baccus. Mira had a beauty contest with Blue Pegasus Jenny, dragging all the girls from the guilds into it.

The last battle shocked us all, Sabertooth's Yukino bet her life with Mermaid Heel's Kagura. They put on a great fight but in the end, Yukino was the one to lose both the match and the bet on lives. It was a shocking day, I have no doubt in my mind that the bets will live on tomorrow.
