Why Me (??? x Reader) part 3.

The void was almost at full size. You were glad it was going to destroy everything. You missed your friend and hated the other one. Everyone was called to attack. Each one of your teammates were to ambush the heroes. You were assigned to heal O'Chunks if he was to be hurt. You noticed one on the heroes. It wasn't the time to hallucinate.

The battle began with the reptile and O'Chunks fighting. The fight was interrupted by the cealing collapsing. The two heavy weights were the only thing holding it up.

"Go! All of you!" You heard one of them yell. You evacuated with the rest of the heroes.

As you left, you noticed that you weren't hallucinating. You tackled the man and began to cry.

"Oh my gosh, I've missed you for so long!" He flinched slightly.

"I'm sorry I think you mistaken me for someone else. I'm Luigi. What's your name?" He stuck his hand out awkwardly in attempt to introduce himself.

"Oh... Im...  Y/N." You said defeated. You could at least hang out with an impostor, right?

More fights commenced, but as they continued you lost most and more people. First Mr.L, O'Chunks, then Mimi. You were ready for the end of all things to commence so your loneliness would be gone.

It was the next fight. It was against Dimentio of all people. You decided to leave, but Dimentio wanted to help them. This couldn't be right, no it was just a trick, right? The heroes smartly declined, but Dimentio was angered He challenged Luigi to a fight. He accepted and you and Mr. Red were escorted out to the final room. Once you left you heard a loud explosion.

"Oh no..." you gasped. They were gone. You saw Count Bleck. He put out of the way of the fight kindly.

"Promise me one thing Y/N. No matter the ending of this fight. You will NOT revive me. Says Count Bleck."

"Yes Count." You said.

The fight ended soon after when He was cut by the eight pure hearts.

Suddenly everyone was back. O'Chunks, Mimi, Luigi, the Turtle, and the princess. Something wasn't right about it. where was Dimentio? Nastacia was faithfully standing next to the Count. A butterfly flew over to him. She was suddenly struck down by a blast of magic.

"Silly assistant, absorbing my attack to protect him. What an adorably hopeless gesture. I was about to give him the everlasting peace he so desperately wants!"

The butterfly began to speak.

"Dimentio, your alive?" He simply laughted.

"Of course, this is my moment. Even if the Count dies the Chaos Heart won't disappear if I continue to control it. But I needed the power of the Pure Hearts to beat him. I couldn't do that on my own. So I had you do all the sweaty labor for me. And you even defeated Count Bleck. If they make greeting cards to thank people for helping with evil plans I owe you one."

"What are you even saying."

"I'm saying that you are no longer of use to me, so I'm ending your games. They're all yours Mr.L."

Mr.L? You looked around and saw Luigi looking very anxious. A floro sprout appeared upon his head and he yelled.

"I AM MR.L! Master Dimentio, what is your bidding?" He said.

You looked at him surprised.

"When I sent Luigi here, I planted a seed in the fertile soil of his unconscious. And now that seed has sprouted spectacularly. Mr.L run along now and get ready for your entrance. Now ladies and gentlemen, especially my soon to be partner, Y/N the Great, get ready for the greatest magic show you'll ever see."

Luigi was swept up into a mini void and turned into a monster. It had the head of Luigi but its limbs were made of chains and his torso had Dimentio's cape.

"GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!" The monster yelled.

"The dark prognosticus says hes the ideal host for the power of the chaos heart. And now I'm going to add my own powers to this spicy little concoction."

The creature fused with Dimentio and swooped down to grab you. It held you tighly.

"Now the Chaos Heart is mine. I will use this to destroy all worlds and create perfect new ones. So shall we get started Y/N? Now I have all I need to become the king of all worlds."

The 'Super Dimentio' began to stomp and attack the heroes, while keeping you tightly protected in his left hand. The heroes continued on with their attempts but, soon even 'it' realised they couldn't affect it. 'It' eerily laughed deeply. Its laugh was a mixture of Mr.L's and Dimentio. It sounded quite demonic.

Out of nowhere a bright flash appeared and a heart shape formed. It was the fabled  purity heart. The one thing needed to take down this monstrosity. The heroes took the monsters distraction as a chance to attract. They finally took it down, but its grasp was ever tight on you. Large clouds formed and you and Luigi were on the floor. His hand was wrapped around your hand tightly.  He was unconscious. The heroes went to stop the void and left you and Luigi alone. He woke up quietly and you noticed a few things different about him. He had yellow and blue eyes and wore black overalls over his green shirt. His hair was black with a stripe of white.

"Are you okay?" You asked him.

"Yeah I'm okay Y/N." he replied. He at least remembers the time when you two were close friends. He squeezed your hand.

"Can you stay here with me?"

"Of course."
