Chapter 10

Norlyn's POV

Luke and the boys spent their Christmas here but left after a day so they could celebrate New Year with their families.

I still can't believe what happened last Christmas. It is the best Christmas indeed.

I'm on my way now to my school with Nikki as usual. Vacation is nearly approaching.  Wonder how would I spend two boring months.

Probably partying all night like I always do.

My phone buzzed.

It is a text message from Luke :)
LUCAS♥ : hi babe good morning.  Have a great day at school. I'm off to bed now and we'll  have a band practice tomorrow so I might not be able talk to you. I miss you heaps. Take care and I love you xxxx

A Wide smile broke into my lips.

"Oh please I bet Luke is being a cheese ball again ey? Bring back my best friend your not like that you've changed since you and Luke are a thing now."Nikki whined. While focusing on driving.

"Hey I did not change! Why won't you find a boyfriend so you'll stop bugging me and Luke? And FYI I always spend time with you just like the old times." I said and rolled my eyes.

Nikki laughed "Hey i was just messing with you okay? I'm happy seeing my best friend happy. Though you look like crazy most of the times." Then she reached for my hand and squeezed it.

I almost cried with what she told me. "Geez your such a drama queen. But thank you and I hope you'll find the guy that will destroy all the walls you built around your heart."

I felt Nikki tensed with what I said. She hasn't moved on with her past.

Her past relationship with her ex-boyfriend who cheated on her.

Since that incident happened Nikki never had a serious relationship. She always play around. She doesn't believe in love anymore.

We reached our school. I removed my seatbelt. Then Nikki talked.

"If he hurts you I'll hurt him. I can't bare seeing you getting hurt. I don't want you to experience what I had."

I was quite shocked with what she said. Of course she could hurt Luke.  We went in Teakwando class before we also had Judo. We're black belters. And Nikki is strong though Luke is taller and bigger than her she can beat him up.

I shake my head. "You sound like dad."

She chuckled "I know right."

We hopped outside the car and went to our class.

4pm

All my classes ended. I went home.

I changed my uniform with a high waist short and a black t-shirt.

I hopped in my bed and grabbed my phone to see if Luke sent me a message or something.

None. I just recieved a text from Aliya as always.

I replied to her text and lay down on my bed. Then I fell asleep thinking about Luke.

5am

My alarm clock is making a noise meaning time to get up.

I groaned and covered my head with my pillow.

"5 more minutes" I murmured.

The clock didn't stop making noise.

Which made me irritated so I am forced to get up.
