Chapter 11

I was awaken by a tap to my shoulder.  I carefully opened my eyes to adjust to the light. I looked around other passengers are getting ready. We already reached our destination.

I grabbed my bag and fixed myself.

The pilot talked in the speaker announcing that we can go down now.

I'm really nervous. I'm going to meet Luke's family.

Fuck.

I breathed deeply and pushed the cart which has my luggage and hand bag.

I'm now at the arrival area. I'm searching Luke in the crowd.

Crap I forgot to bring my contact lens I'm sorta blind without them.

"Norlyn!!!!!" Someone yelled.

I searched who was that. I moved forward so I could see the persons who are waiting.

Suddenly I felt someone hugged me tight and spin me around.

"I missed you babe." He said then kissed my cheek.

"I miss you too babe but can you put me down. We're kinda making a scene here." I said.

He put me down and hugged me tightly again. "Oh God I missed you."

I giggled and buried my face in his chest. Oh boy he really smells good.

"Hey Lucifer mind introducing us to your girlfriend? " Ben interrupted.

He just ignored his brother's comment. Luke let go of me and took the cart that I was pushing. "They're all excited to meet you." He looked down on me and smiled.

I take his hand and squeezed it. "I hope they'll like me."

We reached his family and I was strangled by his older brothers. They hugged me tightly. I felt like a hotdog between two buns. Heavy buns.

"Welcome to the family lil sis." They said in unison and smiled at me widely.

I was shocked for a moment then I managed to compose myself and greet them as well. "Thank you for your warm welcome. Jack and Ben I heard many things about you." I said and smiled at them.

"Oh I hope they're good things." Jack answered and scratched the back of his neck.

Which made us laugh

Then Luke's parents came forward and gave me a hug.

Awww I suddenly missed my mom and dad. I'll call them when we get to Luke's house later.

"Welcome dear." Liz said "my son has a good taste. We heard so much about you." She added.

"Yeah he can't complete single sentence without your name being mentioned. " Andy added shaking his head.

I looked at Luke whose blushing and looking down.

I reached for his hand and squeezed it. I tipped toe to reach his ear and whispered. "Seriously you need me to brag me to your family?" Then I giggled

He laughed and kissed my forehead.  "Let's get going my baby needs to rest she must be really tired with the flight."

We all went to the van and settled ourselves. Andy on the drivers seat. Liz on the passenger seat. Jack and Ben in the middle row. Luke and I at the back.

I feel a little sleepy cause i wasn't able to get enough rest in the plane. I rested my head on Luke's shoulder. He puts his right hand around me to make me feel more comfortable.

"Have a good rest babe. I'll wake you up when we're already home. It's kinda far from here." He said and kissed my temple.

I just nodded and moved closer to him.
