Norlyn's POV

The moment i'm sure that my distance from Luke is far enough, I let all my that tears that i've been keeping to fall down freely. I feel like dying. But I need to go, i'm doing this for his own good. God knows I meant every word that I said in that letter, I love him more than anything, but we're not meant to be together for now. When I saw him standing infront of me, I wanted to wrap my arms around him and never let go. As I say those harsh words that I uttered I feel like i'm being stabbed inside by thousands of knives. He'll surely hate me after this, but I hope that one day he'll eventually finds out why I left. Adam promised that he'll tell Luke about it. I have faith in him.

I dried all the tears on my cheeks with the sleeves of my hoodie and walked my way to the plane. My seat was assigned at the third row from the right, by the window. The pilot's voice started talking on the speakers, I'm not paying attention to any of it, since I knew about it and i'm too drowned with my thoughts. I put in my seatbelt and stared outside.

As the plane took off, I felt I left my heart in L.A. I left it to Luke.

After the long hours of flight, our plane finally landed. I went down and waited for my bag. I walked straight to the line where the cabs are and told the driver my address. I looked over the window and saw the familiar places. I'm home. But I don't feel it though.

The cab stopped at the familiar gate. I handed the payment to the driver, grabbed my bag and stepped out of the cab. I took some deep breathes then rang the doorbell. I took some time before someone came out of the house. It was my mom, wearing an apron? Which made my eyebrow raise, they don't really stay at home during weekdays because they're both busy with work, with our small company.

"Norlyn is that you?" She asked as she walks over to me.

I smiled a bit. I missed my mom. "Who else? " I hugged her tightly after she opened the gate.

"Well I missed you too sweetie." She laughs a little and hugged me back.

Then my father came out of the door and walked over to us. "Princess is it really you?" He asked as he walks near us.

"Dad! " I yelled and engulfed him with a tight hug as well.

"Whoah, your really home. Your mom and I missed you a lot." He said and kissed the top of my head.

"Well let's get inside and continue our chitchat there." My mom says and walked back to our humble house.

My dad took my bag and followed my mom inside. I closed the gate and went inside as well. I heard my parents voice in the kitchen so I went there to see that my mom was cooking some foods.

"What is this? A welcome party?" I blurted.

"As much as we want to say yes but we we're expecting some guests for dinner. And besides we didn't know that you were coming home now." My mom stated and continued with what she's doing.

"Ohhh.. then who are coming over? Do I know them?" I asked a bit curious with our guests for tonight cause they seem special, like my mom rarely cooks fancy dishes for us.

"Well I don't know if you still remember them. The Simpson's just got back here yesterday and wanted to pay us a visit for old times sake." My father answered.

I furrowed my eyebrows. Simpson's?  They kinda sounds familiar. But I don't remember them. So I just nodded my head like I understand what my dad just told.
