"renjun!" donghyuck screamed, grabbing the attention of the said male. his eyes grew wide upon seeing his friend whom he hasn't seen in months.

"d-donghyuck?!" he stuttered in shock as he was engulfed in a bone crushing hug by the other boy.

he wanted to cry, he couldn't believe he finally saw his other friends again.

mark and jeno arrived and cut the two off.

"mark! jeno!" renjun says as he happily pulls them both to a hug as well. mark smiles, "nice to see you again renjun-ah.."

donghyuck smiled as well, but he remembered something more important too. "renjun, where's chenle?" the tanned boy asked.

"he went to the bathroom. why?" the boy asked. they knew renjun and chenle escaped the lab together.

jeno stepped in the conversation, looking at renjun worriedly. "dr.go's guards are here and we need to find chenle before he gets taken. he doesn't know that they're here which is even more risky." he explained.

renjun was in shock. they are here?!

donghyuck started panicking. "oh my god..what if they got chenle already?!"

"he was supposed to come back here 5 minutes ago! he's taking too long in the bathroom that's why i started walking around.." renjun added which increased donghyuck's panic even more.

mark tried his telepathy skills on chenle, sending a message to warn him. but, he failed. he didn't know where chenle was and in order for him to send a telepathic message, he needed to know where the other person is.

"i can't send him a message! we need to look around for him!" the oldest said to the other three.

jeno hesitated. "what if they get us too?"

mark shook his head. "no they won't. only if you guys stay hidden. i will go find chenle myself."

"are you gonna be okay..?" donghyuck softly said. the other smiled and rubbed his shoulder for comfort. "don't worry. i will find him safely okay? for now please stay at the roof. there's an alleyway over there with piles of boxes. go to the roof and i'll meet you guys there okay?"

they only nodded and proceeded to go to where mark was pointing at. jeno muttered a good luck before helping the other two climb the boxes.

mark had set off with using his invisibility to stay hidden away from the guards who were roaming around the park looking for them.

the older went to the bathroom first, hoping to see chenle there but he wasn't.

he looked around the sea of people and a bunch of shops and food stalls but no sign of a certain boy he was looking for.

mark needed to fly. he couldn't see properly through the crowd.

and so he hid somewhere secluded before finally levitating above the ground. he looked everywhere.

the boy spotted a small basketball match happening at the other side of the park and the guards he saw were near that area as well.

mark hid on top of the roof, and looked over the huge crowd on the basketball match happening. he knew chenle loved basketball so there was a small chance he was there.

and luckily, the certain boy he'd been looking for stood amongst the crowd, intensely watching the match going on.

he then remembered the guards inching near the area where chenle was at and panicked again. he needed to get him out of there without getting seen.

mark quickly thought of a plan and jumped down from the roof and entering the huge crowd. he knew exactly where chenle was which made it easier. he squished through the people there, muttering small sorry's to the ones he hit. he needed to get there faster as he saw one of the guards looking through the crowd which made him anxious.

he finally saw chenle and tightly grabbed his arm, dragging the boy out of there.

being the clueless boy he is, chenle was taken a back at the stranger who had dragged him out of nowhere and screamed.

"let me go! let me go!"

he managed to get people's attention which mark really wanted to avoid. "chenle! shhh!!" mark whispered to try and shut up the squirming boy under his arms.

the other male widened his eyes at the owner of the voice and stood there in shock. "m-mark..?"

"yes its me! we gotta go. dr. go's guards are here and they're trying to catch us!"

before chenle could even respond, the guard already had saw them and came running to them with other fellow guards following suite as well.

"oh no."

mark quickly took chenle's hand and ran behind the shops and stalls, trying to lose them wasn't easy at all.

they were right behind them and it made chenle's heart beat faster. he was scared to death.

the older led them to another huge crowd, letting them buy some time and possibly slowing down the guards. mark managed to get away from them enough and used his invisibility power to make the two of them disappear.

mark knew chenle could levitate so it made the process much easier.

they both finally levitate, mark holding chenle's hand to keep him invisible.

"we did it."

hi guys! i wont be updating this book for only a short amount of time as i need to focus on finishing my other book "blue box" first. it is almost finished dont worry!
