mark leaned against the wall and closed his eyes for a short while. he felt so tired and worn out after what they did and jeno couldn't blame him. he has been moving random debris around the building to clear a safe area for them to stay in.
he made sure he got rid of anything sharp or dangerous around that could harm them such as random pieces of hard wire and shattered glass. he also cleared some random cement blocks out of the way with ease as he has the super strength power to.
just as jeno was about to move the last piece of cement out of the way, a loud yell interrupted him as well as mark who was now wide awake from the sudden outburst of a loud voice.
"WE'RE BACK!!!!" a high pitched voice who's known to be chenle, yelled while he held donghyuck's and renjun's hands as he drops down to the ground.
the two males thought they were done but got cut off again with a loud roar coming from the roof. it sounded like a lion.
jeno, out of instinct, was ready to pounce on whoever was on the roof. but, his sharp and intimidating eyes transformed into soft, almost teary-eyed when he saw the face of a boy he wanted to see again for so long.
"jaeminnie!!" he shouted.
it was jaemin and jisung on the roof. but instead, it was the younger who shapeshifted himself into a lion for jaemin to ride on. chenle couldn't obviously handle all four of them so jisung insisted on being a lion instead as lions can climb.
the lion-jisung jumped down and landed on his paws. jaemin hopped off his back right away and ran to jeno's arms. out of everyone, jeno was also one of the boys who he was really close with.
jisung shifted back into his normal self and smiled. he spotted mark in the corner who was just as shocked as jeno too. "mark hyung!" he said and ran to his friend whose more like an older brother to him.
mark took a second to process what he was seeing. jaemin and jisung were finally back with them and now they're complete. he never felt so relieved in his life.
and before he knew it, jisung had already engulfed his figure into a big hug.
