as they were nearing the apartment building, the blue haired boy immediately stopped his tracks, causing the younger boy stop and bump his back.
"what was that for??" he asked and faced the older one.
the blue haired boy just snickered and ruffled is hair. "we have to shapeshift first before going in, jisung." the brunette just sighed and used his powers to transform into an old man while jaemin turned into an old woman, playing as an old couple.
you might be wondering why were they shapeshifting into them. well, they decided to play as an old couple who lived in the apartment building so that they could use their room for free. the original couple were away for the time being so their room was empty. thus, letting them have a room to use.
they managed to fool the apartment owners so it was fine.
until now.
the two boys acted natural, like how they always do when they come home to the apartment. they didn't pay attention to anyone else and just walked in. but, they didn't notice two people arguing with the apartment owner.
"but we didn't come here until now! we were in busan the whole time how could it be occupied!"
"ma'am, sir, i don't know what you're talking about-"
the old woman turned around in frustration, until she made eye contact with someone who looked exactly like her. she widened her eyes and screamed so loud that everyone was looking at her. even the boys caught her attention.
jaemin felt his heart race and looked at jisung right away. they were caught.
woman's husband looked to where she was pointing at and grew shocked as well. "they're imposters!!!" the old woman yelled angrily.
that was their cue to run.
jaemin and jisung shapeshifted back into their normal forms and immediately ran as fast as they could away from the building.
great. they were caught and now they don't have anymore place to live in.
the two kept running until they grew tired and stopped right outside a convenience store. jaemin breathed heavily and collapsed on the floor, lying down in exhaustion. he didn't care and just stayed there for a few seconds to collect his breath.
jisung leaned on the wall beside the store's entrance and panted really hard too.
"we were caught by them. now we have nowhere to go! what do we do jaemin?" jisung asked and approached the boy who was now sitting down on one of the chairs outside the store.
the blue haired sighed sadly and looked back at the younger. "i don't know, ji."
the boy just nodded and looked at the convenience store. after a moment of thinking, he looked at jaemin again. "can we go inside? to buy water or something cuz im really thirsty from all of that," he said and pointed to the store.
jaemin nodded and stood up, going to the entrance of the store with jisung trailing beside him.
"sure. it's your treat this time, okay?"
