I apologize for any mistakes

~enjoy <3

"Dad's going to pick you up?" Darcy asked going downstairs after a few moments. She sees her brother by the front door, and hears a car pulling up to their driveway.

"He's here. Bye." Noah opens the door, walking out quickly. Once he closes the door, Darcy groans going over to lock it. She shakes her head. "This family is so dysfunctional oh my god." She says. "Well what are we going to do now?" She asked.

Harry takes in a deep breath, looking at the sleeping toddler on the couch. He must've fallen asleep when they were all upstairs yelling. "Do you have any baking supplies?" Harry raises his eyebrows.

"Yep." She nods.

"Okay let's bake!" Harry cheered.

Darcy chuckles lightly as her and Harry make their way into the kitchen, tension is in the air. "If I'm honest, I really don't want to go to my dad's house next weekend. I always have to take care of Joesph, and do all the cooking. I feel like my brother and Jake always team up, you know? They're partners in crime." She exclaims.

"Have you told Louis?" Harry asked, going into the pantry to get ingredients. He steps out of the pantry when he got everything he needed, looking for a fork to mix the ingredients together when it's ready.

"Can you grab a bowl and a pan?" He asked her.

"No. I don't think he'd understand, you know? Jake is just really aggressive sometimes." She goes to a cabinet, grabbing a big blue plastic bowl. "He was never like that when I was younger, but it got worse when we got older." She squats down, grabbing a rectangular metal pan, setting it on the counter.

"How so?" Harry questioned. He knew the story, but he doesn't know if Darcy knows about Louis, or even herself. It's a possibility that she might've forgotten.

"He um," she pauses, the kitchen is very quiet, tension is getting heavier by the second. "He hit me one time." She confesses.

And there it is, so she does remember.

"Fucking dick face." Harry growled underneath his breath, hoping Darcy didn't hear him. "You don't deserve that Darcy. You should fight back against him just incase he tries to hurt you. Do you know how to fight?" He asked.

"No, I'm scared. I can't fight which is a bad thing."

The green eyed man pours some brown sugar into the blue bowl, not measuring the amount. "I can ask your dad if I can take you to my boxing lessons. I have boxing lessons every Monday and Wednesday." He informed her.

She nods her head smiling. "Thank you, that'll be very nice." She says.

"Of course! Okay, we're going to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch. As you see here, I put brown sugar in here. Now, what we do next is, put a little bit of flour on the brown sugar." Harry instructed, pouring a generous amount of flour on the sugar.

"Do you have vanilla extract?" The teen nods her head, walking into the pantry, grabbing a small box of vanilla. She opens the box, handing him the dark brown bottle of vanilla extract.

Harry pours a little bit into the mixture in the bowl, measuring it in his head. "Can I have an egg?" She nods, walking to the fridge, grabbing an egg.

"How do you feel about my dad, Harry? I heard that he asked you out on a date last night?" She asks, striking up a conversation.

Harry smiles at her question. "You crack the egg." He mumbled. "Well, how do I feel? I feel happy around him. He's amazing." Harry complimented.
