sorry for mistakes

~enjoy ig

On the drive to Harry's house, a storm had come their way. Apparently it was a strong one, so they prepared and went to the grocery store to grab food.

Harry called his mom letting her know that they won't be able to make it due to the storm. They rescheduled their meet up to another day.

"Papa when is baby coming?" Joesph asked, poking Louis' stomach.

"In six more months bub. He or she has to grow before they come out." Louis replies, petting Joesph's wavy hair.

All his kids had wavy hair, they took that trait after Jake. Now, all Louis could think about was how his and Harry's baby would look like?

"I can't believe you're pregnant again. I'm so happy. I hope it's a girl!" Darcy exclaims.

They all sit in the dark, waiting for the power to turn back on. They lit up candles and had their flashlights on.

Darcy sat on the love seat, while Harry, Louis, and Joesph cuddled on the couch.

"Yeah I want a baby sister!" Joesph says.

"Well, who knows, let's hope the baby is healthy." Harry chuckles. "Next week is the appointment. When do we get to find out the genders Lou?" Harry questions.

"Eighteen or twenty weeks in." Louis answers flatly. Every since they left Jay's house, the blue eyed man was unusually quiet.

"Ah so eight more weeks to go." Harry declares.

"Yep." Louis nodded staring at the blank wall.

"Dad, are you alright?" Darcy asks, feeling guilty for what had happened an hour or two ago. She saw the whole exchange and felt angered, but there was nothing she could do.

"No, not really." Louis says shrugging.

"Papa what's going on?" Darcy frowns. Harry rubs his boyfriend's knee, knowing exactly what was wrong. He felt this was all his fault, he shouldn't have pushed Louis into going to see his mother.

"Darcy, I have tried giving you kids the life that I never had. I wanted you to connect with your aunts, your grandparents, your uncles, cousins, and I can't. Jake isn't here to help out with that, so it's all up to me." Louis answers.

"Dad-"

"Hell, I ran Noah out the house. You're getting bullied and I didn't know shit. It's- I just feel like a bad parent for not trying hard enough. I want you to live happy, not going through the same shit like I did. I want and need for you kids to do better than me. That's my goal right now." Louis finishes.

"Louis you-"

"No, don't say anything, I'm just really sorry. I've tried to make everything perfect with you kids. I've already messed up with one child, I can't mess up with the two, well, three of my babies now." Louis spoke.

"Dad!" Darcy yelled. "Shut up for one second! Jesus Christ!" She huffs.

"Seriously Lou, shut up." Harry blinks.

"You are trying dad, okay? You didn't fail anyone. I understand what you're trying to say. Thank you so much, but give yourself a break. Not everything is perfect, you need to understand that." Darcy says.

"Yeah babe, you gotta stop putting so much on your shoulders." Harry squeezes Louis' knee in comfort.

"I'm sorry, but did you tell me to shut up?" Louis frowns. "Okay, okay, sorry." He says when the two glared at him.
