The start of a crush

Kara POV

It's been a month since Zee and I started dating. Every Saturday we made it routine to hangout or go on dates Every Saturday.

Today we decided to head to the beach with are friends since it's finally summer. Packing my sunscreen, and towels. Jessica should be coming by to pick me up any minute since she agreed to pick us all up at are houses. When I get the text in the group chat that she's outside I pick up my sports bag with all my stuff and start heading outside.

I find everyone already inside already I place my stuff in the back before getting in the van. As we drive over to the beach we all start to argue over the music. "Jazz!" Zee yells.

"No play Metal!" I tell her.

"Why not just classical it's relaxing." Diana chips in.

I groan tired of fighting with them. "Just play something I don't care anymore." I complain.

In the end we get stuck with Zee's jazz music. It feels like torture the entire way. After a few minutes we arrive at the beach. We all jump out grabbing are bags from the back before heading over to the beach and finding a spot.

Since Diana and I are already in are swimwear(well mines under my clothes.) We start searching for a spot to set up. Diana is wearing a plain blue swimsuit with yellow stars.

I set up the umbrella as Diana lays the blanket down. I start removing my clothes being left in a blue sports bra and red swim shorts. I place my clothes in my bag not wanting to get sand in them.

Jessica and Barbra arriving shortly after, Jessica wearing a green t-shirt that's green and white shorts. Barbra wearing a purple one piece with a bat symbol in the middle. I wave them over as I spot them.

"We're Zee and Karen?" I ask them. I just want to see Zee.

"There still in the changing rooms." She explains going to to sit down next to Barbara.

I decide to sit with them as well, Diana joining us. "We should start putting sunscreen on I don't wanna get sun burnt." Jessica says reaching for the sunscreen.

I feel a pair of arms wrap around my neck from behind me as I see Karen walking over to sit next to Jessica. She's wearing a yellow one piece with a bee design in the middle.

I feel a kiss placed on my cheek. "You look cute." Zee whispers into my ear. I know it's zee so I just relax. I turn around wrapping her in a hug. I place a kiss on her lips in response to her comment.

"No your cute." I retort back.

"Okay lovebirds don't start making out." I hear Barbara comment.

"Don't tell me what to do. All make out with her if I want to!" I yell back at Barbara. She jumps a bit going to hide behind Diana. I hear a laugh from Zee. She pulls away going to grab the sun screen. I stare at her as she walks over to Jessica grabbing the bottle from her. Zees wearing a cute light pink thin strapped bikini. I feel something wet drip down my nose.

"Um Kara...your nose is bleeding." I hear Karen comment.

I wipe my nose with a finger and notice blood. Crap she gave me a bloody nose, now I feel like a pervert. I grab some napkins wiping my nose. "Seriously kara?"I hear Zee say coming over back to me. She sits on her knees in front of me grabbing the napkins from me and wiping my nose.

"I can do it myself." I tell her but she only smiles back at me.

"I know you can." She says finishing up and tossing the napkin away. "But I like taking care of you." She says poking the top of my nose.
