Kara'a POV

As I fly to school, I land at the back of the school hoping no one saw me flying. I look around making sure no one was around to see, them I quickly take off to the front of the school entrance. Once I get there I see students entering the school, I decide to take a set on the stairs.

I wait patiently for Zee hoping she will let me explain what happened. I think back to how angry she was. Then I think about her hair sticking to her soft pale skin her body...

I immediately start shaking my head after the thought. "Stupid stupid." I tell myself slapping myself.

"You can say that again." I look up to see who the voice belongs too. I look up to see Zee crossing her arms and glaring at me.

I quickly stand up "Zee!" I immediately start looking for the right words to say.

"The one and only." She says flipping her hair, every strand falling back into place perfectly without her trying. Her face holding a monotone expression.

The sight makes me nervous and I begin to stumble on my words. "I'm sorry-I-I mean I didn't mean to upset you."I apologize I hope that came out right. I look down in shame.

I hear her sigh. "Kara I'm not mad anymore." I look up and see her looking away from me while playing with a strand of her hair. "I'm not gonna be petty about something so I forgive you."She looks up at me with those amethyst orbs.

"Of course you wouldn't ." I comment

Zee goes to stand next to me. "Common Kara lets go to class before we're late." She grabs my hand and I follow along.

A few hours later
-lunch time

I head over to our usual table taking the seat next too Zee, Karen being on her other side. Zee seems to be talking about her fathers next show. "I will of course be his assistant." She excitedly squeals.

I smile watching her talk about what she loves. She's so open about her love for stage magic. I feel someone eyeing me and I turn a look and notice Jessica looking at me suspiciously.

"What?" I ask her.

"It's nothing just a thought." She says going back to her food. I can't help but be suspicious myself but not really carry I just ignore it.

Zee then taps my shoulder I look to her and she's giving me the cutest look I've even seen. "Kara are you going to come to my fathers show?" She asks a small twinkle in her eye.

I can't say no to her. "Uh..yeah definitely." I respond not being completely sure if all even be able to go.

"Oh I knew you would come." She squeals. Then leans in close to my ear. "Because if you didn't I would have banished you to a black hole and you wouldn't like it there." She whispers into my ear.

I feel a shiver go down my spine and I gulp. She was joking right? I keep asking myself still not believing it was a joke.

"Kara what's wrong?" I hear Barbra ask. Then everyone suddenly looks at me.

"Huh?" Is my only response as I try to wrap my head around what it's like to live in a black hole.

"Um you look like you just saw a ghost." Jessica answers.

"No I just-" I look at Zee and she's just smiling at me.
"Yeah I saw a ghost...behind you!" I quickly point to Karen and they all look behind Karen, as I runaway.

I ran as fast as my legs can carry me through the hall till I reach my locker. Okay I guess I can cancel all my plans for tonight. What was that saying the prettiest girls are the scariest ones? No I think it was something about beautiful girls being evil. "Ahh it doesn't matter!" I yell In the hallway and everyone looks at me. I just sink to the floor and cover my face.

"Are you really that scared of me?" I hear a voice ask and I look up and see Zee staring down at me rolling her eyes as I scoot away from her. "Oh my god kara." She face palms.

"I don't know which is scarier the phantom zone or a black hole and I don't want to find out!" I yell. Before struggling to get to my feet and running away.

"Kara get back here!" I hear Zee yell from behind me. I keep running till I'm out the school doors. I stop to catch my breath and turn to see Zee isn't behind me I sigh in relief.

"Kara don't you dare run from me again." I jump when I see Zee appear suddenly in front of me with annoyance written on her face.

I'm about to run when Zee casts a spell. "Ezeerf!" She yells waving her wand at me. I try to run and move but I'm frozen in place. I watch as she walk in front of me her hands on her hips. "Kara it was a joke!" She yells at me. "I wouldn't actually banish you into a black hole." She says calmly folding her arms. "Okay now I'm gonna undo the spell and you better not run from me." She threatens holding up a finger to me.

I'm unable to respond or move. "I will take your silence as a yes." She says undoing the spell. I fall to the floor and slowly stand back up.

I look at Zee and she's waiting for a response from me. "Can I run to class, I think I'm gonna be late?" I ask casually.

Her eyes go wide. "Oh no I am too!" She yells running into the school before me.

I just stand there. When she quickly pops her head back out the door. "Oh right, Kara go to class." She tells me before going back inside.

I quickly start running to class. Praying I don't arrive late
