The start of a crush

Zee's POV

It's Wednesday after school and Kara asked to hangout. So we both decided to spend sometime at the amusement park. So well that where we are but kara looks distracted to me.

"Kara are you feeling okay?" I ask her, she looks exhausted like she's been busy.

"Never better." She responds before shaking her head and the exhaustion away. Then grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the roller coaster. "Common let's get on this." She tells me. As we get into are seats. We both pull down the handle bars that keep us in are seats and I try to ignore the itching feeling that kara's hiding something but in the end decide not to push the subject.

The roller coaster ride starts going up. I relax into the seat when I feel something pressing on my shoulder. It's a lose bolt that keeps the safety bar on. We're nearly at the top when my safety bar goes up.

Kara notices and begins to lecture me "Zee put that back down." Kara tells me pulling it down, but the safety bar only going back up.

"I can't!" I yell at her. I feel sweat go down my face as we reach the top. I can't use magic Kara and me are sitting at the very front and there are people behind us who might see. The roller coster starts to go down and I close my eyes. I open my eyes only to see were going through the loop next I scream as we do being terrified.

When I don't feel myself falling I stop screaming and open my eyes. I look down to see an arm tightly pushing against my chest I feel my face heat up at the action. I look to kara and see she's smiling at me. "Geez your alright calm down." She laughs at me. I remove her arm from me as the ride slows down.

"Kara it's not funny!" I yell at her. Immediately getting off the ride when it stops. I look at the conductor of the train. "Fix this damn ride!" I yell at him as I passing by him. I cross my arms annoyed.

I start walking away from the amusement park, annoyed by Kara laughing at me. When I feel someone grab my arm. "Zee I'm sorry I laughed. Are you okay?" Kara asks her face taking on a worried expression. I sigh relaxing a bit.

"I'm fine kara." I start feeling a little bad when I look at kara.

"Zee I wouldn't let you get hurt?" She grins at me and I just shake my head as I start laughing at her goofy grin.

We start walking towards the arcade room because kara wanted to play video games. We head to this shooting game kara wanted to play and I sit down as Kara plays the shooting game being completely bored. So I decide to go on my phone going through Instagram.

After a few minutes I turn stiff when I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look up to see a boy about my age and a smirk on his face. "Can I help you?" I ask removing his hand from my shoulder, I'm more confused because I don't recognize him but then again I meet a lot of people.

"Who are you here with?" He asks me looking me up and down the action making me uncomfortable.

I just point to kara, I look and she's still focused on the game. Ugh seriously kara.

"Well how about you and me go talk some more since your friend looks busy." He says grabbing my arm and pulling me forcing me to stand. Without waiting for my response.

"Hey let me go." I glare at him trying to pull away. "I don't want to go with you." He continues to try to pull me away. Even though I'm making it clear I don't want to go with him.

"Look I just want to get somewhere private so we can hook up." He explains. Wrapping an arm around my waist.

I look at him in disgust. "What makes you think I even want to go with you?" I ask removing his arm and shoving him away from me.

"Look at me you can't say no to this." He says licking his lips. I shiver in disgust.

"Yes I can actually." I glare at him in annoyance hoping he'll take a hint. He tries reaching for my hand and I hold it up against my chest not wanting him to touch me. "You really shouldn't treat someone like this, especially someone way out of your league." I lecture him crossing my arms.

I feel an arm wrap around my waist from behind me. I jump at the sudden contact but relax when I hear Kara's voice.

"Dude can't you take a hint your making her uncomfortable." Kara glares at him.

"Look stay out of it she's coming with me." He claims trying to reach for me. I watch kara slap his hand away he glares at kara. "What's your problem?" He asks annoyed.

"My problem is your hitting on my girl." I hear kara claim. I feel my face turning red at the comment.

"Y-your girl?" He asks taking a step back in surprise.

"Yeah this cutie is mine."She informs him before placing her chin in between my neck and with her other arm she grabs my hand and laces are fingers together.

The other guys eye seems to be twitching before he starts to walk away. Cursing himself under his breath.

"You alright?" I hear kara ask me as she lets go of me. I feel myself missing her touch.

"Yeah kara, I'm fine."I release the breath I didn't realize I was holding.

"You want me to take you home?" She asks rubbing the back of her head.

"No it's fine we can stay a bit longer." I tell her not wanting to ruin the day for her.

"You sure?" She asks looking at my face for any hint of a lie.

"Yes I'm sure kara." I respond crossing my arms and rolling my eyes at her for not believing me.

"Okay okay, I was just making sure."She defends.

I look around looking for an interesting game to play with Kara when my eyes land on a racing game. "You wanna try that racing game?" I ask her pointing over at it.

"You sure you want to race me?" She asks getting cocky grin on her face.

"Don't get cocky and suddenly lose." I smirk at her crossing my arms.

"Oh you are so on!" She yells running over and taking a seat. I take the seat next to her and I inset a coin inside. We start the race kara is crashing into multiple street lights and cones while I'm casually driving by. In the end I won without trying.

"But how?" She asks not believing what she's seeing.

"You were literally crashing into everything kara." I laugh.

"Next game!" She yells dragging me to a basketball shooting game.

I groan knowing I can win here. "Why this game?" I ask annoyed.

"Because I know I can beat you at this." She claims. "Now get ready." She tells me before starting. I try my best to get the ball into the hoop and I manage to get 5 into the hoop but loosing to Kara's total score of 30. "Wow I didn't expect you to make any." She sounds impressed. I roll my eyes at her comment.

"Next game is my pick." I demand. I hated this game and now I'm gonna pick a game she's definitely gonna not like. It's like this the rest of the time where at the arcade each on of us wanting to top the other.

Eventually it's time to go due to the arcade closing and we end up tied in games won. Even so kara doesn't get upset about it surprisingly. She drops me off at home before she heads to her house.
