Jungkook's P.O.V

You opened your eyes as you suddenly heard someone call your name and rush up to you

Jin: Jesus I thought you passed out and-

He frowned as he lifted your chin and widened his eyes

Jin: Were you choked?!!

You looked away and cleared your throat

Jungkook: I'm fine I was just resting hyung

Jin: Tell me or I'll call Taehyung down

You immediately looked up at him as you shook your head

Jungkook: I-I'll tell you so don't!

Jin crossed his arms and you sighed as you rubbed your throat

Jungkook: A couple of days ago 5 of the guards uhm.. well something happened and they thought I snitched to Taehyung and weren't too happy about it...

Jin frowned as he helped you stand up

Jin: They didn't do what I'm thinking right-

You shook your head immediately

Jungkook: No- they just... touched and played around and said some stuff nothing extreme!

Jin huffed as he cursed under his breath

Jin: What about Taehyung? Why can't I tell him?

You sighed and rubbed your arm

Jungkook: I made a deal to tell him if something like that happened again.. If he reports them there's a risk of my name getting out and I can't afford to lose this job...

Jin sighs and rubbed the back of his neck

Jin: But still you were choked-

You smiled and shook your head reassuringly

Jungkook: I'm fine, he was just warning me and left so nothing happened!

Jin: Alright... But if it happens one more time I'm not holding back!

You nodded before lifting your chin lightly

Jungkook: Is it still red?

Jin: A bit yeah...

You sighed and rubbed it

Jungkook: Can you cover for me? I'll just go put some concealer on really quickly

Jin nodded and you smiled before waving as you hurried off to your room.

Later...

You bowed as you finished serving dinner to the royal family before walking out to let them eat in peace.

Jin: You sure you're okay?

You nodded as you smiled

Jungkook: Yeah can barely feel it anymore, I'll go rest for a bit in my room if that's okay?

Jin immediately nodded before handing you a cup of tea he just made

Jin: Absolutely, and here drink this. It's always good to drink something warm if your throat hurts

You smiled and thanked him before walking away to go down to your room, you slowly sipped the drink humming softly as you smiled.

You definitely felt much better, and now you have Jin on your side as well.

Taehyung's P.O.V

You hummed as you looked around not seeing Jungkook among the staff anymore

Mom: Is something wrong dear?

You shook your head as you gulped down some water

Taehyung: I'm okay mom

Your dad chuckled softly as he reached over patting your shoulder

Dad: Have you found someone that catches your interest? Is it one of the blind dates?

You sighed and shook your head

Taehyung: No, and please stop setting me up on blind dates. They're all giving me a huge headache, I could never stand having any of them by my side.

He sighed as he sipped his wine

Dad: Son you know you'll need someone by your side once you take over, a king needs a queen.

You groaned in frustration

Taehyung: But-!

Suddenly Jin walked over to you and leaned down lowering his voice as he looked concerned

Jin: Something's not right, I've tried contacting Jungkook and he wouldn't reply and now it completely doesn't go through

You frowned and immediately stood up as you and Jin rushed out of the dining room

Taehyung: Where was he last time you saw him?

Jin: He was with me and asked if he could go rest for a little bit, I gave him a cup of tea for his sore throat and let him.. shit I should've gone with him

You gulped as you and Jin both rushed downstairs heading towards his room, you widened your eyes as you saw a cup broken on the floor and quickly looked over at Jin

Taehyung: No.. nono..

Jin: T-that's the mug I gave him-

You both looked around as you suddenly heard a thud, you quickly ran down the hallway opening all the doors to see where it came from.

You tried opening one door and frowned as it wouldn't open, you felt your blood boil as you heard someone on the other side say "quiet!" So you quickly kicked the door a couple of times until it finally flew open

Once you rushed inside you growled loudly as you saw Jungkook on the floor beaten up and his clothes slightly ripped open

Taehyung: YOU FUCKING BASTARDS!

Other guards rushed in since Jin had called them over and made sure they couldn't escape, you rushed over to Jungkook and held him as he trembled and shivered in fear

Jungkook: H-hyung...

You nodded and held him close as Jin handed you a blanket to help cover Jungkook up

Taehyung: You're okay now...

You glared over at the guards who did this to him and lowered your voice

Taehyung: You sick perverted bastards... I swear you'll pay for this!

They snickered as they glared back still keeping a taunting smile on

Guard: What, we didn't do anything wrong.. After all, people like him were born to be prostitutes, so technically he was just doing his job.

Taehyung: SHUT IT!

You were about to stand up and launch at them but Jin stopped you as he shook his head

Jin: It's not worth it, stay with Jungkook instead

Jungkook's P.O.V

You held the blanket close and wiped your tears quickly as the king and queen rushed in

King: I heard the guards were called what happened-

You lowered your head in shame and the queen rushed up to you

Queen: Oh my god.. let's get you away from here, can you stand dear?

You nodded and tried standing up but your legs gave in immediately, Taehyung caught you and lifted you up so he was carrying you.

Taehyung: Just hold on to me
