Aria was fading in and out of consciousness, and even when she was conscious, she had no idea what was going on. She asked Bryon several times, but he never gave her a really good answer, like, ever. She kept asking but Bryon, nor Jessica would tell her what was going on. She kept asking, and asking, but they never said. There was a blinding pain in her abdominal area. She couldn't place the source of the pain, but it sure was there.

"Bryon?" She shuddered as another wave of pain forced itself over her,

"Yeah?" She looked at him, he looked bedraggled.

"Can you sing to me?" His eyes widened, and he started singing a haunting, but beautiful melody that lulled Aria into a trance between passing out and being fully aware of her pain.

"I didn't know you were that good Bryon." Jessica commented while she was mixing a concoction to make the baby come faster,

"You really are good." Bryon smiled shyly.

"Thanks, I wanted to be a singer instead of going into the law profession. So this kid is a stroke of luck in many ways." Aria gripped his hand harder, he turned back to her, worry laced into his face.

"This is going to be harder than I thought. She's not relaxing, the baby won't be able to come through." Jessica sighed and ruffled her hand through her silver-grey hair.

"Why is life so damn complicated?" She said to no one in particular.
