On May 20th on a warm Saturday afternoon. Sloane and Liam stood beside Isobel and Bucky as they said their I Dos on the dock by the lake. The same dock they spent so many summer nights.
When they shared their first dance it was to her ringtone. "Change Your Name" by Brett Young.
When Bucky and Liam both left for boot camp in July. Sloane and Isobel helped each other with the their babies and did online college classes. When the boys were done with boot camp and returned home. They all moved to Fort Riley in Kansas.
When the twins were 5 years old Bucky and Isobel moved back to Savannah. Both of them got teaching jobs at their old high school along with Liam and Sloane.
Isobel also gave birth to a baby girl that named Allie-Grace. Bucky loved his boys but Allie-Grace had him wrapped. She was ever bit Isobel's little mini me.
Bucky always joked that the nerd next door saved his life. Isobel always rolled her eyes when he said it. They passed away together in their sleep holding hands at the age of 90.
When they reached the end of the light together. "See I told you. You werent allowed to leave me that we had to go together."
"You wouldnt last one day without me." She said as they walked together in the light.
