It was another morning spent on the bathroom floor with Draco holding my hair as last nights dinner came up. I groaned as I fell back against Draco's chest as he rubbed my arm placing a kiss on my head. He flushed the toilet helping me stand up as I went to brush my teeth to get the horrid taste out of my mouth. He wrapped his arms around my waist looking at me through the mirror with a smile.

" Do you think?" He asked making me give a hopeful smile.

" Let's hope," I said opening the cabinet door and grabbing a pregnancy test mum sent me when I told her I was feeling sick. " Go make me breakfast." I started pushing him out but since he's stronger than me, way stronger, it did not work.

" You do not tell me what to do," he said turning around. I crossed my arms raising an eyebrow giving him an annoyed face that he returned with a tight-lipped smile. " What do you want, love?" He asked making me smile.

" Surprise me," I said kissing his cheek. I loved this man with everything I had, but his cooking skills made it all the better. I wouldn't expect since he's had house-elves all his life to do whatever he wanted but I guess it's a natural talent. As he left I took the test out taking a breath as I held the little stick in my hands. I was really hoping I was, I wanted Cass back.

Five long minutes. That's what I had to wait to get the results. I tapped my foot against the floor with the test on the counter face down. As the timer went off my heart started beating out of my chest as I took the stick in my hands, which were shaking terribly. I closed my eyes turning it over then opened one too scared for the actual results. As soon as I saw the two lines I felt the tears start to make their way to my eyes.

" Draco!" I yelled running down the stairs into the kitchen. I kept shouting his name, so happy that I was getting my baby girl back. As I made it to the kitchen he was at the island with a confused happy face. I jumped on him wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. He stumbled back grabbing my thigh with one hand and the counter with the other.

" Positive?" He guessed with a smile. I nodded the tears falling out as I showed him the test and he smiled with me spinning me around. He put me back on the ground grabbing my face in his and kissed me. It took all of my air out of my lungs, it was more than a kiss. It was a promise, it was his promise to always be there and to always love me. It was him showing, telling me how much he loved me and cared about me. It was his way of telling me he was never letting go of me. I'd never forget this moment, this kiss, this year, I'd never forget him and the way he makes me feel, I never want to.

" Is something burning?" I asked giggling scrunching my nose as the smell of burnt food hit my nose. He pulled away cursing as he went to the stove where there was now burnt food on it. I definitely would never forget this day.

As the months went on and Hogwarts ended it was sad, emotional but I couldn't be happier. I was starting my life with my fiance. I had a belly that Draco loved, I often woke up to him talking to our baby girl made me smile. I never let him know I was awake because they were his conversation with our daughter. It was his silent promises that went into the night that made my heart warm. His 'I love you's' that got me through everything. It was the days we spent arguing our different perspectives that made me love him even more. It was the late-night conversations that made me understand him more.

At the beginning of the year, I didn't think I had a chance to live, after all, I was marrying Draco Malfoy, the ex-death eater. I didn't realize there was more to him than that, there was more of him to love. He was hurt and I was the person who helped put him back together. I was the one who judgemental, but he helped me see differently. Draco Malfoy would never be my first choice before this year but now, now I would choose him for everything. He is my rock and I am his. I couldn't be more thankful for how my life turned out than it has right now.

As we sailed across the black lake, much like our first year, and I had Draco's hand in mine looking back at the castle that was my second home, I felt ready. I felt ready to take on the world and to show it what I can do, to make it mine. I was ready to have my family with a person I never thought I would but wouldn't change him for anything. I was ready to have my dream job, hopefully, and to get a house with Draco. I was ready for my life to really begin.

" We got this right?" I asked looking up at Draco. He nodded squeezing my hand.

" I got you and you got me that's all we'll need in this world," He said smiling. I smiled back wondering how I got so lucky. This was my fiance and I was going to marry him, have a family with him, grow old with him.

" We're all we need because we have everything right here," I said agreeing with him and he nodded. " Me, you and little Cassiopea, that's all I need in my world, that's all I want." I smiled just at the thought of us all being together again.

" Maybe another kid," He said smiling or smirking.

" We'll see," I said chuckling. He smiled helping me out as we made it to shore. I looked out at the great lake that once looked so scary as I sat in a boat with Harry, Ron Neville and my sister terrified of what was before me. The world isn't as scary as it seems, not when you've faced your fears and you have someone to be there if you do fall.

" I got you, love," Draco said as I tripped over my own feet giggling. I knew he did, he always would and that made me smile even more.

Draco Malfoy was my one and only, the only person I would need. Never in a million years would I have thought I would say those words but they sound right now, they sound nice. I love him and he loves me, Cass is with us and maybe even a second child would be in our future, we'll just have to wait and see.
