Chapter Two

I sat at the kitchen table with my face in my hands. Yuri was asleep for the night. I wasn't able to fall asleep. I kept thinking about what I'm going to do about Yuri and her father. I didn't want her near him at all. I suddenly heard my phone vibrating on the table. I looked over and saw it was Yugyeom.

I answered it. "Oh, Yuggie... Why are you up?"

"We just got done with practice. Is Yuri okay?"

"Yeah, she's fine. Hey... Do you have some time?" I asked.

"Oh, yeah. Why what's up?"

I sighed, "I'm worried... The lawyer is wanting to let your brother have days with Yuri..."

"Oh... Like officially."

"Once a week." I rubbed the side of my face. 

"At least it's just the day. You'll have her back at night." Yugyeom answered. "Think about it... it's still morning and he'll have to watch her. He can't drink then..."

"You don't know that... He may have drinks there." I sighed. "I just can't trust him... Why does he even want to come back anyway?"

"I don't know noona... He hasn't said anything to me..."

I looked down at my watch. 

3:30am

"Hey... It's getting late... Why don't you head to bed?"

"I will soon. Oh! How was Yuri with Tae and the others?" Yugyeom asked.

"She was fine, she likes them." I answered.

"Great! I felt bad, and I'm really sorry about that."

"No... I understand. She did fine over there... I'm just worried about when she'll start seeing him..."

"Yeah... Well, just remember that I'm here for you if you need anything."

"Thanks Yuggie... I'll talk to you later." I spoke.

"Bye noona. Good night."

"Night." I hung up the phone.

I got up from my seat and went into Yuri's room. I got into bed with her, and hugged her.

When morning came, the sun shining into my face woke me up. I groaned and stretched. I looked over at the time and gasped.

8:30 am

Oh shit...

I quickly got up. "Yuri." I woke her up. "It's time to get up."

Yuri opens her eyes and smiles at me. "Hi mommy." 

I smiled back. "Morning baby. Come on, mommy's late for work."

"Uh oh!" Yuri jumps up. "We got-a go!"

Once I finished getting us dressed, I got her in the car seat and drove off to work. "Yuri-ah, I'm going to just bring you to work okay? Uncle Yuggie might come and get you later."

"Okay mommy." She answers.

Once we arrived, I got out of the car and got Yuri out. She held my hand as we crossed the street, and entered the building. "Good morning Ms. Park."

I smiles at the lady at the front desk. "Morning."

"Your first appointment is here." She spoke.

"I thought it was clear this morning?" I walked over to the desk. 

"It was scheduled last minute." She hands me a folder. "You're lucky."

"Oh? Why?" I asked.

"It's BTS." She smiles.
