Chapter Twenty-eight

Taehyung takes off his sweater and puts it around my shoulders. He then helps me back upstairs and I'm met with all the other members. I was ambused with hugs. "Thank god."

"Nothing happened right?" Jb asked.

"I'm fine." I smiled.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but Ms. Park may we have a word with you?" I turned to the officer behind me. I nod. I walked over and Taehyung stayed with me, not wanting to leave my side. "Can we have a statement. We would like you to tell us everything that happened."

I nodded. "Uhm... Well, I think about a week ago? I had gotten off of work and went to pick my daughter up from the daycare, but she wasn't there. There are only three people listed to pick her up. One being Taehyung, who wasn't even in the country, and Yugyeom who was working. While I was out looking for her, I was at the park when Taehyung called back. I was suddenly caught and had a cloth to my mouth and I blacked out." I sighed. "I woke up and was in the bedroom tied up to the headboard, and Yuri was there trying to wake me up. I find out that it was Yuri's biological father, Kim Minho, who had kidnapped both of us. He seemed to be confused because he was acting as if we were still together, and that my unborn baby was his." I felt Taehyung wrap an arm around my waist. "But he never hurt us or anything. He only smacked me when he saw the police come."

After we finished everything, Taehyung takes me to the hospital.

"It looks like everything is good. You're baby is healthy and so are you. Looks like he actually took care of you there." The doctor spoke. "Do you have any concerns?" I shook my head. "Alright if anything comes up make sure to come back."

"Thank you so much." Taehyung says as we leave. When we got to the car it was quiet.

As Taehyung is driving he spoke, "You're staying at the dorm with me." I looked at him. "I don't want you to stay by yourself at the moment."

"But Yuri-"

"She's already there. I told Yugyeom to drop her off. Jimin says they are trying to keep her distracted. I'm sure that once she sees us, she'll be crying."

I sighed, leaning my head back. "I'm sure we all could use a good cry right now." I said feeling tears fall. Taehyung takes a hold of my hand tightly. "I want to see Yuri." I tell him.

"I know. We will be there soon."

When we got to the dorm, Taehyung and I just barely walked into the living room and Yuri was running over to me, bursting into a sob. "Baby..." I began to choke up as I picked her up, hugging her tightly as she cried on my shoulder. "Baby girl... I'm so proud of you. You were such a brave little girl." I spoke out as I felt tears run down my face.

"M-mommy... is he comin' back?" Her soft voice came out.

"No baby girl. No more seeing him. Don't worry." I tell her. I looked up to see the other members also tearing up, some trying to hide it. I felt a pair of arms wrap around Yuri and I. I slightly turned my head to see Taehyung as he leaned in to kiss Yuri's head. Yuri looks up making grabby hands for him. Taehyung takes her and hugs her tightly.

"Daddy." Yuri sobs.

Taehyung then broke. All the tears and emotions he was holding back, were now coming out. He falls down to his knees, Yuri still in his arms as he sobbed. "I... I didn't know what to do... It felt like my whole world was falling apart... I couldn't think straight or anything..." He cried out. I began to cry and went down to hug him, Yuri in the middle of us. "God... you have no idea how happy I am to have you two back in my arms." We suddenly felt more weight added in the hug. The other members had come and joined in for a big hug. All of them were crying as well.

"We are so glad you two are safe." Yoongi says.

When everyone had calmed down, we all decided it was time to go to bed. Jungkook hugs me. "Really good to have you back."

Jimin comes over hugging me and kisses the side of my head. "Have a good night. Take care of yourself." I nodded to him.

The rest of the members all hugged and said goodnight. Taehyung had Yuri in his arms and I followed him to his room. I closed the door as he lays Yuri on the bed. She starts crying, making grabby hands at him. "No..."

"Baby girl we are still here with you." He says softly, sitting next to her on the bed. I got on the other side of her and laid next to her.

"Why don't you sleep?" I ask her.

"Mommy and daddy-"

"Mommy and daddy will be right here. We will be next to you all night." I reassured her. Taehyung fixes the blanket and covers Yuri and I with it, and then joins. Taehyung and I got closer and hug Yuri. Once she had fallen asleep, I felt Taehyung rubbing my arm with his thumb. I looked up at him.

"I love you." He says softly.

I grinned. "I love you too."
