"What?! No!" I felt tears threatening to fall. "Please! I don't want him to take her."

"Ms. Park, you know the rules. She will be back tonight." The lawyer sighs. Yuri walks out of her room, and came into the living room.

"Mommy!" She climbed onto my lap. "Mommy sad?" She pouts.

I cleared my throat and put on a smile. "Mommy is fine baby..." I looked over at the lawyer worried. "Baby... You're going to go visit someone for a few hours okay?"

"It mommy and Yuri day..." Yuri began to whine.

"I know baby..." I sigh, pushing her hair behind her ear. Fridays were my days off and Yuri and I usually spend the day together. I guess her father really wants to take everything away from us...

"I stay wif mommy?"

I bit my lip, trying not to cry. "I'm sorry baby..."

The doorbell rang, and I felt the tears escape. I quickly wiped them and stood up. I opened the door and it was him. My heart ached, and my chest felt heavy. "Hey... I'm here to pick up-"

I shook my head at him. "You don't need to tell me..." I frowned. I let him in, and went back into the living room. I picked up Yuri, and went into her room. I made sure to keep myself together.

"Mommy?" I heard her speak as I put her down. "Who was that?"

I crouched down. "Remember mommy said that you're going to visit someone for a while?"

Yuri frowns. "Yeah..."

"You're going to go with that man for a bit okay?"

"No! Mommy no!" She began to cry.

"Hey, hey... Babygirl, listen to mommy. It's only for a little bit. I will see you later okay?" I tried to calm her down. "Want to take your bunny?" I stood up and gave her stuffed bunny. I grabbed a backpack and put extra clothes and diapers in there. I picked her up, and she cries onto my shoulder. I rub her back, trying to calm her down.

"Aw... what's the matter baby?" Her father spoke. I glared at him. I felt Yuri's grip around my neck tighten.

"It's my day off... we usually spend it together." I answered, rolling my eyes. I handed him the backpack. "There's extra clothes and diapers if she has an accident. She does know how to use the bathroom, but she's still learning." He leans in to take Yuri from me. Yuri began to scream cry.

"No! Mommy! I wan mommy!" She cried.

"Baby... I'll see you later." I spoke.

"Mommy!"

I looked away, so I wouldn't start crying.

"You should probably go... It'll be harder on both of them, if you just stay." The lawyer spoke. "I'll keep in touch Ms. Park." I just nod as they both walked away. I could hear Yuri crying from down the hall. Once the front door shut, I fell to my knees and began crying.

Later on, I decided to get dressed and go to the cafe near my apartment. I sat at a table, with my face buried in my hands.

"Oh? Y/n?" I heard someone say. I looked up to see who it was.

"Taehyung?"

He smiles. "Is this seat taken?" I shook my head, and he sits down. "What are you doing here? Where's Yuri?"

I frowned, and shook my head. "She's with her father..." I clenched my jaw.

"I'm assuming that's bad?" Taehyung asked.

"He and I divorced 2 years ago." I sighed. "When Yuri was seven months. He didn't want anything to do with her... He just wanted to get drunk."

"And she's with him right now?"

"It's not like I want her to be with him..." I looked down at the table. "It was so hard this morning... She literally scream cried out of the building..." I felt my eyes water. "I held it together till she was out of the apartment... but god... I don't know if I can handle it..."

"Hey..." I looked up at Taehyung. "When do you get her?"

"After dinner... So, four more hours." I answered.

"Do you want-"

My phone began to ring. "Oh... I'm sorry."

"Oh, no. Answer it." He tells me.

I smile and look at my phone. I frowned. "Hello?" I answered the call.

"Y/n." It was her father.

"What?" I sighed. "How is she?" I bit my lip. I could hear her crying in the background.

"Why don't you come get her... I don't want to overdo it. She's been crying nonstop."

"Okay." I let out a breath. "I'll be there soon."

"Alright."

I hung up the phone and looked up at Taehyung. "I'm sorry, I need to go pick up Yuri..."

"Oh no problem." He smiles. "Want me to drive you?"

"Oh, I can just go back and get my car. My apartment isn't far from here." I answered.

"Come on! Plus it'll be fun to see Yuri again."

I sighed, and then nodded. "Al-alright..."

Taehyung and I got up and went to his car. He opened the door for me and I thanked him as I got in. As he drove, I told him the directions to get to Yuri's dad's house. When we arrived, I could hear Yuri screaming. I quickly ran up to the house and Taehyung followed. I rang the doorbell and he took a while to answer it.

When he did, he looked pissed. He grabbed my arm and yanked me inside. "You told her not to like me didn't you?!"

"What? No of course not. Just because I don't like you, doesn't mean I'd tell her not to like you." I scoffed, trying to pull my arm away, but his grip tighten.

"Hey! Let her go!" Taehyung stepped up. "You just wanted her to pick up Yuri. Now let her go." I saw Taehyung glare at him.

I see Yuri run out crying. She gasps when she sees us and ran over behind Taehyung. She hugged his leg tightly.

"Who the fuck is this guy?" He asked me.

"He's just a friend."

"Just a friend?" He scoffs.

Taehyung walks up and pulled Yuri's dad's hand away from me, and guides me slightly behind him as well. "I think we are done here." Taehyung turns his head slightly to me. "Is there anything else you need?"

"Just leave it... It was just a few extra clothes... I do need her car seat though." I answered and Taehyung nods.

"Just hand the car seat over, and we'll be on our way." Taehyung spoke. I turned to Yuri, who was still linked onto Taehyung's leg.

He scoffs, "In my car. It's open."

Taehyung nods, and turns to Yuri and picks her up. She wraps her arms tightly around his neck and whimpers. "Let's go." Taehyung tells me and I nodded following him out of the house. I glanced at Yuri's father, and he glared at us.

I got the car seat and went to Taehyung's car. I let out a sigh as I got the car seat in. Taehyung buckles Yuri into the car seat and gets into the driver's seat. Taehyung starts the car and drives off. I leaned my head back onto the headrest. I see Taehyung glance over at me.

"You okay?" He asked.

I shook my head. "No... I don't want her going there... Someone should've been there watching their interactions with each other..." I felt some tears fall. The car came to a stop, and I looked up. Taehyung had pulled over.

He turns to face me, and sighs. He leans over and pulls me into a hug. "I think you've been needing a hug for a while now... You know... it's okay to cry. Even if Yuri is here... I'm sure you both feel the same about what happened today."

And I started cry.
