Chapter Twenty-two

Five Months Later

Life was amazing. Taehyung and I were publicly together now. Of course we had some hate, but there were many people who supported us, especially finding out that I was pregnant. I am now five months pregnant, and we would be getting to know the gender very soon. Yuri still went to daycare, but she enjoys it a lot. I still work as a photographer, but I got promoted to be the photographer for the whole company. This of course made time to see Taehyung less, but we are still going strong.

BTS was getting ready for their world tour, which was only a week away. So, Taehyung hasn't been able to stay over lately. Yuri always mentions that she wants to see Taehyung, but it's hard to plan it all out when he has such a busy schedule to keep up with right now. Though I was happy for them, I was dreading not being able to see him in person for nine months. He would be missing the gender reveal and the birth of our baby...

I let out a sigh as I finished editing TXT's comeback photos. I heard a knock on the door and looked up to see Taehyung entering. "Hey." He spoke softly. "I brought you some food." He sets the food on my desk. I smiled, thanking him. He kisses my forehead and sits next to me. If he was able to, he'd come and eat lunch with me in my office.

"Yuri wants to see you before you guys leave." I tell him as I took a bite of the sandwich he brought me.

"Of course. I was already planning on it." He looks at me, taking a drink of his water. "You know you can bring her in right?"

"Babe, I know that," I sighed, "but you guys are busy a majority of the day. I barely can even see you since I'm doing photoshoots in other places. I get busy too, I'm not going to make her sit through that."

"But babe, Yuri is good. She won't be a distraction. A lot of the time she just sits and watches us dance." Taehyung sits back in his chair. "That's not it."

I looked up at him and gave a confused expression. "What?"

"There's something else bothering you. You never have issues bringing Yuri." He raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong?"

I just looked down shaking my hair. "Nothing."

"Y/n." He says. My eyes go back up to him. "What is bothering you?"

I sighed in defeat. I leaned back in my chair and closed my eyes. "Will you regret missing our baby's birth?"

There was silence.

I opened my eyes and saw him looking back at me with dark eyes. "Sorry... I didn't mean it like that." I bit my lip. "I just... don't know what to do while you're gone... You're missing the birth. I'll have Yuri and the baby to care for, while still working after maternity leave." I sighed and rubbed my face in my hands. "I'm sorry... I'm overthinking and stressing myself out."

I hear him sigh. "Of course I'm going to regret missing it baby." He leans in caressing my cheek. "If I had the choice, I would stay until you were settled. But Yugyeom is still here. He will help you. We talked about this."

"I want you here though." I felt tears run down my face. I felt his lips brush against mine and he kisses me softly.

"I'll call as much as I can."

I nodded. "I know."

Yuri stayed near Taehyung the whole time we were at the airport with them. They had finished the Korea concerts and were heading out to their next location. Yuri and I came to say goodbye. They had to go, and Taehyung turns to me. I gulped, trying to hold my tears back. "Stay safe." I spoke as we hugged. He kisses my forehead.

"I will. You take care of yourself. If anything bad happens call Sejin hyung okay?" Taehyung says. "I will call as soon as I can. I love you."

I nodded, "I love you." We kissed and then he turns to look at Yuri, who was still in his arms.

"I'll see you soon okay?" He says to her. "Daddy loves you very much."

Yuri begins to cry as he gave her to me. "Nooo." She cries. "Daddy!" I bounced her trying to calm her down.

"I will call you later okay Yuri?" Taehyung kisses her forehead and then looks at me.

"Love you." I tell him.

"I love you too. Both of you." Taehyung hugs me one more time and then walks away with the othe members and staff.

Yuri lays her head on my shoulder crying. I sighed. "Baby." I rubbed her back.

"Mommy I want daddy." She sobs.

"I know... He'll come back." I sighed.

"Are you ready Ms. Park?" I turned to our bodyguard, that Taehyung requested for if Yuri and I went out. I nodded to him and we walked back to the car. I got Yuri in her carseat. "Where to Ms. Park?" The bodyguard asks.

"Just take us home for now. I don't think Yuri wants to go anywhere yet." I answered. He nods and begins driving to the apartments.

I looked over at Yuri who was trying to calm herself down. I noticed her even falling asleep. I smiled softly, brushing her hair out of her face. "Sleep well sweet girl."
