I started walking to my first class, which was English which made Mondays abit less terrible. I was relatively excited due to the fact today is Monday - and I'm seeing Nick on Wednesday.
I walked into my class and dropped my sling bag down on the floor next to the metal pole that holds my desk up. I grabbed my phone out and decided to text Nick back.
*Hey Stranger* I said, and immediately regretted it and wish that you could reverse a text. The class started piling in slowly but surely. And the more people walked in the less time I had.
I excited Nick's chat as I assumed that he wasn't going to reply anytime soon. I then saw the chat that I had with my dad early last week. I wouldn't consider it a chat as it was a whole two messages sent from him and I put together and then remembered that I forgot to ask mom when I was going to visit my dad. I decided that I left him alone for quite awhile (3 weeks actually) and even though I really didn't want to. A decided that I would go sleepover tomorrow night because tonight was my night and Wednesday night my mom gets back and then we are going to the Brethwell's.
I cringed slightly as I sent, *"Can I come over tomorrow night"* to my dad. Although I did kinda miss him I really didn't want to go as since his new wife Claudia was very confusing as she is only about 25 and she pretends that she is my "mom". When I first met her - which was only 2 weeks before her and my dad were going to get married may I add- she gave me that legendary "You can think of me as your second mom" talk and she just kept saying that her and I were going to be like best friends which made me want to puke slightly. It was a very odd relationship Claudia and I have as when she sees me she acts my age but then kisses my dad which creeps me out -a lot- and then she give me that weird smile of like 'why don't we paint each other's nails even tough I'm married to your dad' look, or that's how I made it out.
Don't get me wrong she was really sweet but the reason why I knew her was what made everything very weird and awkward.
Just as class was about to start I got a text from dad,
*Yeah see u then*
I had mixed emotions so I just decided to exit the chat and go back onto Nicks, nothing.
I slipped my phone into the pocket of my denim sling bag and then looked up to see the teacher step into class.
English passed quickly and then I had a hour of Math and then break.
As I walked into Math and saw Hayley waving at me because at this time of my life we were still friends. I really do miss her.
I sat down next to her and said hey. She responded with a quick smile and said, " You won't guess what happened!"
I was intrigued. "What?"
"I, Hayley, finally got my rush from sixth grade to ask me out!"
I was excited and I felt a warm fuzzy feeling coming over me. It was cute and she had a slight crush on him for forever now.
"What happened?" I responded.
"Well I was at forever 21 and he was there too, so I thought to myself like why is there a junior boy in a forever 21 shop? So I walked past like all sexy okay," and she started laughing really hard. It made me laugh too.
"And then I walked past but he didn't notice so I left it and I walked over to the shoes and about 2 minutes later somebody tapped me on my shoulder and I turned around he had like a smirk on and he said," Hello Hayels" and I was like omg omg so I said, "Hey, what you doing here?" And then we started talking and we went for ice-cream and long story short at the end he asked me to go to the movies with him on Friday" she was was smiling like a little kid, which was pretty cute and sweet at the same time.
