"I'm heading out now! See you later dad, Natsu!" Shōyō shouted excitedly behind him as he opened the door. Turning around he saw a tall man with ginger hair and green eyes walking towards him together with a girl. She was the same age and height as Shōyō. Her short ginger hair was kept in a ponytail and her eyes a beautiful shade of brown, just like his.
"Have fun at school!" the man said cheerfully, it was Shōyōs dad, Hibiki. The girl, Natsu, grunted a response. She was Shōyōs twin and, although they were identical, their personalities weren't that similar. Their interests were different too... she goes to gymnastics and she's been teaching Shōyō so much that he ended up joining her on her practises. Or did until about a year ago.
"Wait for me you idiot. Your bike is busted so you're taking the bus with me. Or have you already forgotten that?" Natsu said as she grabbed her shoes, putting them on. She attends a different school. An all-girls school which is further away than Karasuno and attends the famous Go Home club because she doesn't want to join the gymnastics club in her school. She says that she hates all the girls there and complains that all they do is gossip and do stupid stuff. Shōyō has been trying to convince her to transfer to his school but she refuses, after all her school excels in academics and she's a genius - unlike him.
"But I'm going to be late for practise!" Shōyō tried to reason with her, a sad frown on his face.
"Yeah, by how much? Ten minutes? So be it, you're never late! Your coach won't dare say anything! If he did something it would be laughing! Not to mention I might be late for school because of you!" she replied, grabbing her jacket. She usually took the bus that came earlier but since her brother not only doesn't know where to get off but also overslept, she had to wait for him and help him.
"I really hope you'll remember where you're getting off... bye dad!" she huffed and waved at their dad who stood by the door with his shirt, his underwear and a smile. He was so carefree sometimes.
"See ya later dad!" Shōyō waved at him as well, watching him close the door "Of course I'll remember where to get off! I'm not that stupid!" they walked for a while before stopping at the bus stop.
"What? Of course you are that stupid! If it wasn't for me your grades would've been so bad you would've been taken off the team!" she exclaimed. Shōyō pouted.
"Come on, the bus is there." she lazily pointed at the bus which was slowing down. He took out his card and climbed in the bus once it stopped and opened the door. He greeted the driver happily and beeped his card before continuing further inside. There were two seats available by the back door. He sat there and Natsu followed him.
"Get up, I want to sit by the window." she said as Shōyō complied because if he didn't, she would sit somewhere else and he would be forced to sit with someone else, probably an old lady who thought he looked adorable.
"Hey... where do you usually get off?" Shōyō asked. The last time he had sat on a bus with his sister was a long time ago. He always bikes or walks to school and back.
"Why do you need to know? Just focus on remembering where you should get off." she muttered and Shōyō kept quiet. She glanced at him and sighed "I get off at the last stop to get another bus. I get off after three stops of the second bus..."
"Oh... damn, that must be tiring!" Shōyō exclaimed quietly, eyes full of surprise.
"You don't say?" she smiled, irritation fully evident in her voice "I didn't know that!" she whispered with a sarcastic smile. Shōyō snorted at her antics making her chuckle.
"Anyway... there are a few more stops until you get off..." she muttered under her breath "How much does you morning practise usually last?"
"About an hour? Maybe an hour and a half? It depends... but I'm usually there earlier so I get to help them set up and practise more..."
