Chapter 8

Shōyō was startled awake by the alarm clock. He tried looking around to find where he had put it so that he could close it, but he couldn't move. He was almost glued in place by Tadashis arms. Did he seriously not wake up by the alarm clock? Just how heavy of a sleeper is he? Shōyō tried wiggling to loosen the grip but that didn't help him. The alarm clock was still blaring in the background which made Shōyō question why he'd chosen that sound. It made his ears bleed because of how long it went on.

"Tadashi..." Shōyō mumbled, his voice still hoarse, as he dragged out his boyfriends' name. He nudged him but Tadashi was still fast asleep. Is he serious? Shōyō brought his hands up, cupped Tadashi face and pecked his lips "Tadashi wake uuup...!"  

He began stirring awake, stretching his hands and smiling upon seeing Shōyō.

"Good morning..." he whispered as he kissed Shōyōs nose.

"Good morning sleepy head. Come on... we have to get ready. We don't want to be late." Shōyō patted  Tadashis chest lightly and started to get up.

"I don't want to..." Tadashi mumbled but let Shōyō go from his grip.

"You gotta...! Come on. Or else we'll miss morning practise." Shōyō said as he put his hands on his hips. He stood over Tadashi, who was still lying in the bed. He started shaking him "Wakee uuuup!!!"

"I will! Just a second!" Tadashi chuckled "I'm awake. Just give me a minute to... properly wake myself up." he said as he rubbed his eyes. Shōyō sighed but still smiled.

"Alright... I'll be back, I'll just go to the toilet. You better have gotten out of bed by then..." Shōyō said as he turned off the alarm clock and walked out. He heard a small hum before walking to the toilet where he did his business and threw cold water on his face to wake up. He looked at his reflection and smiled. They were together now, weren't they? Shōyō smiled wider as the thought circled around his head.

He headed back and Tadashi was still on the bed. He sighed but then smiled. He began running and jumped on Tadashi.

"Wake up!!"

"Oof!! I'm awake! I'm more awake than ever! I swear!" Tadashi said with a light chuckle "I give up, come on get off of me..." Tadashi put a hand on Shōyōs back as the latter stood up. Tadashi sat up on the bed and smiled up at Shōyō.

"Good morning...!" Shōyō said once again with a bright smile as he took Tadashis hands.

"Morning... I'll be right back..." he answered as he blindly walked to the bathroom. He yawned as he disappeared through the doorway. Shōyō began changing clothes to his training clothes. He thought of the competition. He felt himself grow nervous, but it disappeared once Tadashi came back to the room, fully awake now.

"I'll be ready in a minute..." he said as he began changing into his training clothes. Shōyō tried not to stare too long when he started undressing. When he was done with changing, they took their things, bags and what not and walked to the door. 

"We can put the things here and go eat breakfast. How about that?" Tadashi said with a smile and Shōyō nodded.

"Hey, I have a question..." Shōyō began and Tadashi stood in front of him.

"What is it? Is there something wrong?" 

"No... it's just that... should we tell your parents that we're dating now? Or do you want to leave it for another time... I don't really mind but it's up to you..." Shōyō said as he calmly looked up at Tadashi.

"Oh... yeah. No, I don't have a problem with it. They know that I'm gay and they really like you, so I think they'll be happy to hear it." Tadashi answered with a smile. Shōyō smiled back and nodded.
