Epilogue - Take a chance

Shōyō was wearing a casual black shirt and jeans with a flannel around his waist as he stood in front of his whole-body mirror. It was Sunday and it was time for his and Tadashis date. He was nervous but his mom had helped him pick out some cool clothes. He was glad that she was better at that than his sister.

"You look fine! Just go! He's all over you anyway so it won't really matter what you'll be wearing!" Natsu said as he rolled her eyes.

"Shut up! I'm nervous..." he mumbled in response as he fixed the flannel around his waist.

"You sound and look like a girl... stop it and just go." she dragged him away and threw him out of his room.

"Hey!" he exclaimed as she kept lightly pushing him down the stairs and bugged him until he was done with wearing his shoes "Fine! Fine, just stop! I got it! I'm out!" he said as he grabbed his keys and walked out.

"Good luck!" she exclaimed as she closed the door behind him.

"Such a nice sister..." he mumbled as he waited for the bus. He would be meeting Tadashi at the mall and go the arcade first and then sit down at a small café. He felt happy and smiled to himself as he messaged Tadashi that he was on his way.

He got on the bus and sat down. He passed his school and continued to the stop before the last. He got down and walked to the mall.

Shōyō opened the message and speed walked to the arcade. He was eager to meet his boyfriend. He saw Tadashi from far away. He didn't really stand out with his flannel and jeans but Shōyō would still recognize him anywhere. He waved and caught his attention.

"Hey!" Tadashi greeted him with a peck on the cheek. Shōyō smiled.

"Hello..." he blushed, and they walked inside.

"So, what do you want to do first?" Tadashi asked as they looked around.

"Hmm... I don't know... what about... air hockey?" Shōyō pointed at it. It was one of the only games that weren't being used by the younger kids. It was still early in the afternoon, but their time would soon end. This arcade was special because it had specific times for younger kids and other times for the older kids. Tadashi and Shōyō were allowed to be in there at all times since they were members.

"Sure...! I have to tell you though, I'm not the best at it..." he chuckled, and they began playing.

They kept playing games, racing and shooting, basketball and football and many others. Although it was time for Shōyōs favourite game. Laser tag. It only opened once or twice a day to keep things under control.

Shōyō and Tadashi decided to be on opposite teams to increase the fun. They were tagging other people of course but their main target was each other.

Shōyō was hiding around a wall and spying to see if he could see Tadashi but found himself being pushed back.

"What the...?!" his back was against a corner and in front of him was none other than Tadashi "Tadashi...? What are you doing?" the latter smirked and cut him off by leaning in to kiss him. Shōyō savoured the kiss but suddenly he heard Tadashi pulling the trigger in his laser tag. Shōyō wore a shocked expression as he watched Tadashi walking backwards with a smile on his face while biting his bottom lip. This called for a challenge... Shōyō scoffed and began running after him.

Don't get him wrong. He had tons of fun, but Tadashi used some cheating sometimes. Luring him in or kissing him to distract him. But that only happened two times.
