Chapter 2

Daichi was on his way to Sugawaras class so that they could go to practise together.

"Captain!!" Shōyō rushed through the corridor that was filled with students. Daichi turned around.

"Oh, Hinata! What is it?" Shōyō came to a stop in front of him.

"Is it ok if I bring some friends with me to practise? I promise they won't make a mess!" Shōyō asked, looking up at Daichi with his famous puppy eyes. Daichi sighed before he smiled.

"Sure... as long as they don't disturb our practise." Daichi watched how Shōyōs eyes slowly lit up, a grin taking place as well.

"Thank you captain! You're the best!" and Shōyō was running off just as fast as he came.

"Aiko!!" Shōyō crashed into his friends' right side, almost sending him tumbling down.

"Ouch! What is it? Didn't I tell you to cut the Aiko? I call you by your first name, so call me by mine!"

"Fine. Akihiko!!!" Shōyō exclaimed happily.

"What is it?! Stop shouting in my ear...!" Akihiko rubbed his right ear, they continued walking towards the gym.

"Captain allowed you to come to our practise...!" footsteps running where heard before someone crushed into Akihiko from the left sending both boys tumbling down.

"What is it with people crashing into me?!" they stood up, Shōyō helping his friend up.

"Guys! Guys! They allowed me to leave! Saying they were planning on just talking about ideas and whatever!" Mengs eyes shown as they walked.

"Oh really?! That's amazing!" Shōyō exclaimed, Akihiko covered both his ears.

"I know right?! I can watch your whole practise now!" they talked the whole time, Akihiko adding his opinion every now and then.

They entered the gym, it was quiet.

"You guys stay here while I change! I'll be right back." and Shōyō was off to the club room. A few minutes later and some people walked inside.

"Who are you guys?" Sugawara approached them, behind him a bunch of others.

"Oh, you must be Hinatas friends... right?" Daichi said, walking in front of Sugawara, successfully ticking him off.

"Yeah! Thank you for allowing us to watch!" Akihiko and Meng stood up with a smile.

"Woah?! Shōyō has friends outside of volleyball?!" Noya jumped in from behind Daichi. The rest of the second years passed by but Tanaka and Noya stuck close.

"That's weird. I didn't think the shrimp could do anything but play volleyball." Tsukishima muttered, Yamaguchi and Kageyama walking behind him. They glanced before continuing to the club room.

"Tell us! Tell us! About Shōyō and his secrets! Does he have some girl he likes?!" Tanaka put his hands on Akihikos shoulders.

"What? No..." Meng answered, Akihiko was too shaken up by the sudden appearance in front of him.

"Oh, come on! Hinata obviously doesn't have a girl he likes...! He's gay." Sugawara answered. Meng and Akihiko froze up.

"What, for real?!" Noya exclaimed with a shocked tone.

"That's... actually not true... he's straight." Akihiko jumped in.

"Are you sure?" Sugawara looked the boy, who was as equally as tall as him, in the eyes.

"Yes! As straight as my ruler." Meng looked at him weirdly, the upperclassmen brushed the look off as being confused of the metaphor he used.

"Anyway, we better get going to the club room. Hope you have fun!" Daichi said as he pushed the other three out of the way. Meng and Akihiko bowed before sitting down again.
