I walked into the academy with Shikamaru and Choji, who had turned out to be really nice. Me and Shikamaru had hung out with him yesterday, after I had gotten over my fight of course. We walked into the classroom, and up the back. No one seemed to notice us as we walked by, but I knew they were watching me. When we reached the back we just sat there and talked about the clouds and food. Man what I'd kill to be watching the clouds right now. Iruka Sensei walked in and interrupted my train of thought. Sighing I decided to listen, since I couldn't remember what I was thinking about before.
"Squad 7: Naruto Uzmaki, Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha." A string of groaning and yeses were heard after that.
"Take that Ino-Pig!" Sigh.
"Sensei why is someone as strong as me stuck with a weakling like sasuke?!"
"Naruto you got the lowest scores, Sasuke got the highest. We have to balance the teams." Iruka replied chuckling.
"Squad 8: Kiba Inuzuka, Hinata Hyuga, Shino Aburame." Some quiet talking and some yelling was heard after that one.
"Squad 10: Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi." More groans and laughs.
"Excuse me Iruka Sensei?" I said while raising my hand.
"Yes Raikou?"
"You didn't call my name..." I muttered, sounding as sad as I felt, "I don't have a team..."
"Ah, yes, you will get a private teacher, as opposed to being on a squad, as yesterday you showed so much promise. Lord Hokage specifically requested this." Iruka Sensei replied while smiling, I couldn't help but smile back. As I looked around I saw everyone looking at me and Iruka Sensei like we were nuts, well....I am, though I'm not sure about Iruka Sensei.
"Everyone meet back here after lunch to meet your Sensei's. Dismissed."
I quickly ran home to tell dad and Yoshino the good news, yes I have been calling Shikaku dad, but he didn't seem to mind. I ran into Yoshino at the door and quickly caught her in a hug.
"Mum, mum guess what! I get my own Sensei, it was requested by Lord Hokage!" I gleamed, as Yoshino froze. I quickly moved my arms from the hug realising my mistake, bowing my head. "My apologies Yoshino." I muttered sadly, only to look up and see her crying.
"You-you called me mum..." She said, tears rolling down her cheeks. "I've always wanted a daughter!" She said, still crying and wrapping me in a tight hug, cutting off my air.
"Honey, you don't want to kill our daughter do you? She's as blue as her hair." Dad/Shikaku chuckled. Mum set me down and wiped her tears with a smile.
"Well you better get back to the academy before your late to meet your Sensei love." Mum/Yoshino said. I nodded turning around.
"See you later mum and dad!" I replied waving, then jumping onto the roof.
