It has been 3 years since I took lady Tsunade up on her offer. And those 3 years were hell. Naruto left with pedo Sensei, Sasuke was now a missing nin, sakura training in medical ninjutsu under lady Hokage and myself training to become the next Hokage. Why they chose me is beyond my comprehension, but I don't question it. Much. I'm still in the ANBU but I can wear my own outfit with a white cloak, as long as I stop annoying Lady Tsunade. I'm trying. Kind of.
"Lady Hokage, Naruto is back!" shizune Called from the other side of the door.
"Okay." Lady Hokage is frustrated right now but she won't tell me why. "Okay, Raikou. We will be sending a team of four over to Suna, it will consist of yourself, Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi. You will be rescuing the kazekage. Dismissed." Just as I was walking out of the door she called me again, "oh and by the way, don't let your feelings get in the way." I blushed bright red as I ran out the door.
You see during my training, I had to go to other villages to see how they work, and when I went to Suna, I developed a crush on Gaara. Weird, I know. But I just can't help it.... anyway Lady Tsunade noticed and she's been bugging me about it ever since. Me and Temari are close now and she also knows.

All four of us ran to Suna, running into Temari on the way. She was shocked and demanded to join us. Soon enough we made it to Suna and rushed through, only to find out Kankuro was poisoned.
"Let me look at him!" Sakura called to Temari. She agreed without hesitation. When we entered a room, lady Chiyo tried to attack Kakashi. Lightning coursed through my hair and water gathered at my feet, as I jumped to protect my Sensei.
"I don't care if your a elder! I won't let you hurt Kakashi!" I yelled, the Lightning getting stronger. I blocked a few more blows and the lady was about to go at it again when-
"Take a look at him sis, this man is not the White fang of the leaf."
"Oh....my, my, never mind." She started laughing and I sweat dropped and my defence went down.
Soon we were sat outside waiting for Sakura to finish healing Kankuro.
"Kakashi, why did the lady attack you, and who is this white fang of the leaf?" Naruto questioned, while I just face palmed.
"Well....in a word...he was my father." I just nodded solemnly as Kakashi slammed his book shut.
"Kankuro!" I heard Temari yell and I ran in, to see Kankuro awake.
"Now Kankuro, answer this, was it sasori of the red sand who attacked you?" He remained silent for a moment.
"Well speak up boy." The old man said following up what his sister said.
"Yes. It was Sasori of the red sand. He told me himself." Kankuro explained looking down.
"So it was sasori. I see." Lady Chiyo stated.
After a bit more talking, we stayed the night and set off the next morning, me in my ANBU uniform, to find the hideout with the help of Pakkun.
