I felt someone shaking me as I struggled to open my eyes, only to find them heavy and my body numb.

"God dammit.......two days.......up........wake....now" I could only pick up parts of what they where saying as they muttered to themself. "Guess I have to do this then..." They trailed off with a sigh obviously frustrated. They stopped shaking me and it was quiet for a minute until.

*SLAP*

My eyes snapped open as I assessed my surroundings, whilst quickly sitting up and scurrying into a corner. My eyes scanned the room while my hand cradled my cheek and tears started streaming down my cheeks as I found the source of the slap. A man in his late 30s stood before me, he had dark hair pulled up into a pony tail, dark eyes, a Gotye and his ears were pierced.

I wasn't just scared right now I was terrified, that feeling only growing as he took a step forward. Hurriedly I tried to back up against the wall as he crouched down, so I did the first thing that came to mind. I screamed. His eyes widened in alarm and he stepped back trying to calm me down and failing if I do say so. I heard foot steps coming towards the door which was on the other side of the room. The door opened as I watched, my eyes wide with fear as a boy around 3 years older then me stepped in looking like a miniature version of the man in front of me.

When his eyes finally found me, they widened from their lazy look as he looked at my cheek. Finally being able to talk he ran forward and grabbed me away from the older version of himself and held me in his arms.

"Dad!" He screamed at the man who was presumably his father. "Did you not think for a second that slapping her might scare her! What a drag."

His father just looked at him whilst scratching the back of his neck.

"No...?"

"Well it did!"

"Well lord Hokage needs to see her so let's go." Said his father as he grabbed his sons arm and walked out of the room, both of us in tow. "Keep a good hold on her, she might run."

I didn't look around as we passed through the village, I only watched my feet as we walked. I could feel the apologetic glances of the boy as we walked. After walking through a building we stopped outside a door. The boy's father knocked on the door and waited. I could faintly make out a reply from the other side as we entered, my eyes still trained on my feet. The boy's father bowed as he entered but the boy couldn't as he was holding me.

"Shikaku, what brings you here today." He was a old man I could tell that much, and the room smelled of smoke, so i could tell he was the source of it.

"Well Lord Hokage, this is the girl that showed up out side the village, covered in blood, weapons and sand, I thought that you would want to talk to her." The boy's father who I now knew was called Shikaku replied.

"Shikamaru let go of the girl, she's fine now. Step forward my dear." I couldn't hear any trace of hostility in his voice, but still as soon as the boy called Shikamaru let go of me I fell to the ground and curled up into a ball. Footsteps approached me when I was lifted up and brought into a hug, from who I could only assume was the old man they referred to as the Hokage.

When he assumed I had calmed, he set me down onto the floor and lifted my head up so I would look at him. He looked like a kind old man in his 70s, his face was wrinkled and he wore robes with red markings on them.

"What's your name hey?" He asked softly, as if afraid to scare me.

"Raikou....I-I um c-can't remember my-y last name...." I trailed off softly and nervously in reply.

"Well Raikou how would you like to stay in the Hidden Leaf Village?"

"I, um, I would like t-that a lot sir..."

"Well that's great to hear!...
